2 CHRONICLES
Chapter 1
1. now Solomon the son of David established himself securely over his kingdom,
2. YHVH the CREATOR was with him and exalted him greatly.
3. Solomon spoke to all Israel,
4. the commanders of 1000's and of 100's.
5. to the judges and to every Leader,
6. all Israel and the Head Fathers .
7. Solomon with all the assembly went to the High Place,
8. which was at gibeon.
9. for the CREATOR's Tent of Meeting was there
10. which Moses the Servant for YHVH had made in the wilderness
11. however David had brought up the Ark for the CREATOR from kiriath-jearim
12. to a prepared place to pitch the Tent by Jerusalem
13. they went to the Bronze Altar
14. which Bezalel the son of Uri the son of Hur had made
15. there before the Tabernacle of YHVH
16. Solomon and the assembly went to inquire
17. Solomon went up there before YHVH
18. to the Bronze Altar which was in the Tent of Meeting
19. he Offered a 1,000 Burnt Offerings
20. that night the CREATOR Appeared to Solomon
21. Said ask what I shall Give you?
22. Solomon said CREATOR
23. YOU have dealt with my father David with Great Lovingkindness
24. YOU have Made me king in his place
25. now YHVH our CREATOR YOUR Promise to my father David is fulfilled
26. for YOU have Made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of earth
27. give me now wisdom and knowledge that i may go out and come in before
this people
28. for who can rule this great people?
29. the CREATOR Said Solomon because you had this in mind
30. and did not ask for riches wealth or honor
31. or the life of those who hate you
32. nor have you even asked for long life
33. but you have asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge
34. that you may rule MY People
35. over whom I have made you king
36. wisdom and knowledge have been Granted to you
37. I will Give you riches and wealth honor such as none of the kings
whom were before you has possessed
38. nor those who will come after you
39. Solomon went from the High Place which was at gibeon
40. from the Tent of Meeting to Jerusalem
41. as he reigned over Israel
42. Solomon amassed chariots and horsemen
43. he had 1,400 chariots 12,000 horsemen
44. he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem
45. the king made silver and gold as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones
46. he made cedars as plentiful as sycamores in the lowland
47. Solomon's horses were imported from egypt and from kue
48. for the king's traders procured them from kue for a price
49. they imported chariots from egypt for 600 shekels of silver apiece
50. horses for 150 apiece
51. by the same means they brought them
52. from all the kings of the hittites and the kings of aram
Chapter 2 2:1
1. Solomon decided to build the House for the Name YHVH
2. and a royal palace for himself
3. Solomon assigned
4. 70,000 men to carry loads
5. 80,000 men to quarry in the mountains
6. 3,600 to supervise them
7. Solomon sent to Huram
8. the king of tyre saying
9. as you dealt with David my father in sending him cedars to build him
a house to dwell in
10. behold i am about to build a House for the Name YHVH our CREATOR
11. dedicated to burn Fragrant Incense before HIM and the Showbread continually
12. to Offer Burnt Offerings morning and evening
13. on Sabbaths and New Moons and on the Appointed Feasts to YHVH our CREATOR
14. this is forever in Israel
15. the House which i am about to build will be great
16. for Greater is our CREATOR than all the creators
17. who is able to build a House for HIM?
18. for the heavens and the highest heaven cannot contain HIM
19. who am i that i should build a House for HIM?
20. except to Burn before HIM?
21. now send me a skilled male
22. that work with gold silver brass and iron
23. in purple crimson and violet
24. who knows how to make engravings
25. with skilled men whom i have in Judah and Jerusalem
26. whom David my father provided
27. send me also cedar cypress and algum timber from lebanon
28. for i know your servants know how to cut the timber of lebanon
29. indeed my servants will work with your servants
30. to prepare timber in abundance for me
31. for the House of which i am about to build will be Great and Wonderful
32. behold i will give to your servants and the woodsmen who cut the timber
33. 20,000 kors of crushed wheat
34. 20,000 kors of barley
35. 20,000 baths of wine
36. 20,000 baths of oil
37. Huram king of tyre answered in a letter sent to Solomon
38. because YHVH Loves HIS People HE has made you king over them
39. Huram continued to bless YHVH the CREATOR of Israel
40. WHO made the heavens and earth
41. WHO has given king David a wise son
42. endowed with discretion and understanding
43. who will build a House for YHVH
44. and a royal palace for himself
45. now i am sending a skilled male endowed with understanding
46. Huram-abi the son from a danite woman and a tyrian father
47. who knows how to work with gold silver bronze iron stone wood
48. in purple violet linen and crimson
49. to make all kinds of engravings
50. to execute any design which may be assigned to him
51. to work with your skilled men
52. with those of my lord David your father
53. now let my lord send to his servants wheat barley oil and wine of
which he has spoken
54. we will cut whatever timber you need from lebanon
55. bringing this to you on rafts by sea to joppa
56. for you to carry up to Jerusalem
57. Solomon numbered all the strangers who were in the Land of Israel
58. following the census which his father David had taken
59. 153,600 were found
60. he appointed 70,000 of them to carry loads
61. 80,000 to quarry stone from the mountains
62. 3,600 supervisors to make the people work
63. Solomon began to build the House for YHVH by Jerusalem
64. on Mount Moriah where an Angel Appeared to his father David
Chapter 3 3:1.2
1. the Place David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan
the jebusite
2. he began to build on the 2nd day in the 2nd month of the 4th
year of his reign
3. now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for building the
House for the CREATOR
4. the length in cubits according to the old standard
5. 60 cubits and the width 20 cubits
6. the Porch which was in front of the House was as long as the width
of the House
7. 20 cubits and the height 120
8. inside he overlaid with pure gold
9. he overlaid the Main Room with cypress wood
10. overlaid with fine gold
11. ornamented with palm trees and chains
12. further he adorned the House with precious stones and gold
13. gold from parvaim also overlaid the House
14. gold on the Beams the Thresholds Walls and doors
15. carved cherubim on the Walls
16. he made the Room for the HOLY of Holies
17. the length across the width of the House 20 cubits and the width
was 20 cubits
18. he overlaid with fine gold of 600 talents
19. the weight of the nails was 50 shekels of gold
20. he also overlaid the upper rooms with gold
21. he made 2 sculptured Cherubim for the Room of the HOLY of Holies
22. he overlaid them with gold
23. the wingspan of the Cherubim was 20 cubits
24. the wing of 1 is 5 cubits and touched the Wall of the House
25. the other wing of 5 cubits touched the wing of the other Cherub
26. the wing of the other Cherub of 5 cubits touched the Wall of the House
27. the other wing of 5 cubits attached to the wing of the 1st Cherub
28. the wings of these Cherubim extended 20 cubits
29. they stood on their feet facing the Inner Room
30. from the Inner Room he made the Veil of violet purple crimson of
fine linen with works of Cherubim
31. he also made 2 Pillars for the front of the House 35 cubits high
32. the Capital on the top of each was 5 cubits
33. he made Chains in the Inner Sanctuary place them on the tops of
the Pillars
34. he made 100 Pomegranates placed them on the Chains
35. he erected the Pillars in front of the House 1 on the right and
the other on the left
36. he named the 1 on the right jachin and the 1 on the left boaz
37. then he made the Bronze Altar 20 cubits in length
38. 20 cubits in width and 10 cubits in height
39. also he made the cast Sea 10 cubits from Brim to Brim
40. circular in form with a height of 5 cubits with the circumference
30 cubits
41. now the figures of Oxen were under and all around
42. 10 cubits entirely encircling the Sea
43. for the Oxen were in 2 rows
44. cast as 1 piece were standing 12 Oxen
45. 3 facing north and 3 facing west
46. 3 facing south and 3 facing east
47. the Sea was set on top of them
48. all their hindquarters turned inwards
49. a handbreadth thick the Brim was made like the brim of a cup
50. like a lily blossom holding 3,000 baths
51. he made 10 Basins in which to wash
52. he set 5 on the right side and 5 on the left
53. for rinsing things for the Burnt Offering
54. the Sea was for the Priests to wash in
55. he made the 10 Golden Lampstands in the way prescribed
56. set them in the House with 5 on the right side and 5 on the left
57. he made 10 Tables and placed them in the House
58. 5 on the right side and 5 on the left
59. he made 100 golden Bowls
60. he made a court for the Priests in the great court
61. the Doors for the court were overlaid
62. the Doors were of bronze
63. set the Sea on the right side toward the southeast
64. Huram also made the Pails and Shovels
65. Huram finished doing the work
66. which he performed for king Solomon for the House for the CREATOR
67. the 2 Pillars and the Bowls
68. the 2 Capitals on top of the Pillars
69. the 2 Networks to cover the 2 Bowls on the Capitals
70. which were on top of the Pillars
71. the 400 Pomegranates for the 2 Networks
72. 2 rows of Pomegranates for each Network
73. to cover the 2 Bowls on the Capitals
74. which were on the Pillars
75. he also made the Stands
76. he made the Basins on the Stands
77. 1 Sea and 12 Oxen under
78. with Pails Shovels Forks and all the Utensils
79. Huram-abi made Them of polished bronze
80. for king Solomon and for the House for YHVH
81. on the plain of the jordan the king had them cast
82. in the clay ground between succoth and zeredah
83. Solomon made all these Utensils in great quantities
84. the weight of the bronze could not be found out
85. Solomon made all the things for the House for the CREATOR
86. the Golden Altar and the Table for the Bread of Presence
87. the Lampstand with the Lamps of pure gold
88. to burn in front of the Inner Sanctuary in the way prescribed
89. the Flowers on the Lamps and Tongs of gold
90. from the purest gold the Snuffers Bowls Spoons and Firepans
91. pure gold at the Entrance of the House and the Inner Doors for
the Holy of Holies
92. the Doors from the House and the Nave with gold
Chapter 4 5:1
1. all the work Solomon performed for the House for YHVH was finished
2. Solomon brought in the things David his father had dedicated
3. the Silver Gold and all the Utensils
4. he put them in the treasuries of the House for the CREATOR
5. Solomon assembled to Jerusalem the Elders of Israel
6. all the Heads of the Tribes and the Leaders of the Fathers' of the
sons of Israel
7. to bring up the Ark with the Covenant from YHVH
8. out to the city of David which is Zion
9. all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the Feast
in the 7th month
10. all the Elders of Israel came as the Levites took up the Ark
11. they brought up the Ark and the Tent of Meeting
12. with all the Holy Utensils which were in the Tent
13. the Levitical Priests brought Them up
14. with king Solomon and all the congregation of Israel
15. those who were assembled with him before the Ark
16. they were Sacrificing many sheep and oxen that could not be counted
or numbered
17. the Priests brought the Ark with the Covenant from YHVH to the place
in the Inner Sanctuary of the House
18. to the Holy of Holies under the wings of the Cherubim
19. for the Cherubim spread their wings over the place of the Ark
20. the Cherubim made a covering over the Ark
21. the Poles ....
22. {{ the Poles were so long the ends of the Poles of the Ark could be
seen in front of the Inner Sanctuary}
23. .... could be seen outside and are there to this day
24. there was nothing in the Ark except the 2 Tablets which Moses put
there at Horeb
25. where YHVH made the Covenant with the sons of Israel coming out of egypt
26. the Priests came forth from the Holy Place
27. {(for all the Priests who were present had sanctified themselves without
regard to divisions)}
28. all the Levitical singers with Asaph Heman and Jeduthun
29. their sons and kinsmen were clothed in fine linen with cymbals harps and lyres
30. standing east of the Altar 120 Priests were blowing trumpets in unison
31. the trumpeters and the singers were to making themselves heard with 1
voice to praise and glorify YHVH
32. they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals
33. with instruments of music they praised YHVH
34. saying HE indeed is Good
35. HIS Lovingkindness is an Everlasting House
36. the House for YHVH was filled with a Cloud that the Priests could not
stand to minister
37. because of the Cloud from the GLORY of YHVH was filling the House
for the CREATOR
38. then Solomon said YHVH has Said HE Dwells in a Thick Cloud
39. that i should built HIM a Lofty House as a Place for HIS Dwelling forever
40. the king faced about to bless all the assembly of Israel
41. while all the assembly of Israel was standing he said
42. blessed be YHVH the CREATOR of Israel
43. WHO Spoke with HIS Mouth to my father David
44. HE has fulfilled this with HIS Hands
45. Saying since the day I Brought MY People from the land of egypt
46. I did not Choose a city out of all the tribes of Israel to build
a House that MY Name might be there
47. nor did I Choose any male for a leader over MY People Israel
48. I Chose Jerusalem that MY Name might be there
49. I Chose David to be over MY People Israel
50. this was in the heart of my father David to build a YOU House
51. for the Name YHVH the CREATOR of Israel
52. YHVH Said to my father David because this was in your heart to
build a House for MY Name
53. you did well that this was in your heart
54. nevertheless you shall not build MY House
55. your son who shall be born to you shall build a House for MY Name YHVH
56. to fulfilled HIS Word which HE Spoke i have risen in the place of
my father David
57. i sit on the throne of Israel as YHVH Promised
58. i have built the House from the Name YHVH the CREATOR of Israel
59. there i have set the Ark
60. which has the Covenant from YHVH
61. which HE Made with the sons of Israel
Chapter 5 6:12
1. he stood before the Altar for YHVH
2. in the presence of all the assembly of Israel he spread out his hands
3. now Solomon had made a bronze platform
4. 5 cubits long 5 cubits wide and 3 cubits high
5. set this in the midst of the court and he stood on
6. knelt on his knees in the presence of all the assembly of Israel
7. there he spread out his hands toward heaven
8. he said YHVH CREATOR of Israel
9. there is no god like YOU in Heaven
10. or on earth keeping a Covenant
11. YOU show YOUR Lovingkindness to YOUR Servants
12. who walk before YOU with all their heart
13. YOU kept this with YOUR Servant David my father
14. which YOU had Promised him
15. indeed YOU Spoke with YOUR Mouth
16. YOU Fulfilled this with YOUR Hand as is this day
17. now YHVH CREATOR of Israel has keep this with YOUR Servant David
18. to my father which YOU Promised him Saying you shall not lack a male
to sit on the throne of Israel
19. if only your sons take heed to MY Way
20. to walk in MY Law as you have walked before ME
21. now YHVH the CREATOR of Israel
22. let YOUR Word be Confirmed
23. which YOU Spoke to YOUR Servant David
24. the CREATOR indeed Dwells with man on earth
25. behold the heavens
26. the Highest Heaven cannot contain YOU
27. how much less this House?
28. that which i have built
29. have regard for the prayer of YOUR Servant
30. my supplication to YHVH our CREATOR
31. listen to the cry of the prayer
32. which YOUR Servant prays before YOU
33. that YOUR Eyes may be open toward this House,
34. day and night toward this Place.
35. YOU have Said to put YOUR Name there,
36. to listen to prayers which YOUR Servant pray toward this place.
37. listen to the supplications of YOUR Servant
38. and to YOUR People Israel when they pray toward this place
39. hear them from YOUR Dwelling Place in Heaven
40. Hear and Forgive
41. if a male sins against his neighbor and is made by taking an Oath
42. if he comes and takes an Oath before YOUR Altar in this House
43. Hear from Heaven
44. Act and Judge YOUR Servants
45. punishing the wicked by bringing his way on his own head
46. justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness
47. if YOUR People Israel are defeated before an enemy
48. because they have sinned against YOU
49. they return to YOU and confess YOUR Name by praying
50. to make supplication before YOU in this House
51. Hear from Heaven and Forgive the sins of YOUR People Israel
52. bring them back to the Land which YOU have Given to them and their fathers
53. when the heavens are shut up
54. there is no rain because they have sinned against YOU
55. they pray toward this place that they confess YOUR Name
56. turning from their sin when YOU Do afflict them
57. Hear in Heaven and Forgive the sins of YOUR Servants YOUR People Israel
58. indeed teach them the good way in which they should walk
59. send rain on YOUR Land
60. which YOU have Given to YOUR People for an Inheritance
61. if there is famine in the land
62. if there is pestilence
63. if there is blight or mildew
64. there is locust or grasshopper
65. if their enemies besiege them in the Land of their cities
66. whatever plague or whatever sickness
67. whatever prayer or supplication is made
68. by any male or by all YOUR People Israel
69. each knowing his own affliction and his own pain
70. spreading his hands toward this House
71. Hear from Heaven from YOUR Dwelling Place
72. Forgive and Render to each according to all his ways
73. whose heart YOU Know
74. for YOU Alone do know the hearts of the sons of men
75. that they may fear YOU to walk in YOUR Ways
76. as long as they live in the Land which YOU have Given to our fathers
77. also concerning the foreigner
78. who is not from YOUR People Israel
79. coming from a far country
80. for YOUR Great Name's sake
81. for YOUR Mighty Hand
82. and YOUR Outstretched Arm
83. they come and pray toward this House
84. Hear from Heaven from YOUR Dwelling Place
85. do according to all for which the foreigner calls to YOU
86. in order that all the peoples of the earth may know YOUR Name
87. fear YOU as do YOUR People Israel
88. to know this House which i have built is to call YOUR Name
89. when YOUR People go out to battle against their enemies
90. by whatever way YOU shall send them
91. that they pray to YOU and toward this City which YOU have Chosen
92. and the House which i have built for YOUR Name
93. Hear from Heaven their prayer and their supplication
94. maintain their cause when they sin against YOU
95. {(for there is no male who does not sin)}
96. or YOU are Angry and deliver them to the enemy
97. taking them away captive to a land far off or near
98. if they take thought in that land where they are taken captive
99. repent and make supplication to YOU in the land of their captivity
100. saying we have sinned
101. committed iniquity and acted wickedly
102. if they return to YOU with all their heart and with all their soul
103. in the land of their captivity where they have been taken captive
104. they pray toward their Land which YOU have Given to their fathers
105. to the City which YOU have Chosen and toward the House which i have
built for YOUR Name
106. Hear from Heaven from YOUR Dwelling Place
107. their prayers and supplications
108. maintain their cause
109. Forgive YOUR People who have sinned against YOU
110. now my CREATOR i pray to YOU
111. let YOUR Eyes be open and YOUR Ears attentive to the prayer at this place
112. now arise YHVH CREATOR
113. to YOUR Resting Place above the Ark with YOUR Might
114. let YOUR Priests YHVH CREATOR be clothed with salvation
115. let YOUR Pious Ones rejoice in what is good
116. YHVH CREATOR do not turn away from face of YOUR Anointed
117. remember YOUR Lovingkindness to YOUR Servant David
Chapter 6 7:1
1. when Solomon had finished praying
2. fire came down from Heaven
3. consumed the Burnt Offering and the Sacrifices
4. the GLORY of YHVH filled the House
5. the Priests could not enter into the House for YHVH
6. because the GLORY of YHVH filled YHVH's House
7. all the sons of Israel saw the fire come down
8. and the GLORY of YHVH upon the House
9. they bowed down on the pavement
10. with their faces to the ground they worshiped
11. giving praise to YHVH
12. truly HE is Good truly HIS Lovingkindness is Everlasting
13. the king and all the people Offered Sacrifice before YHVH
14. king Solomon Offered for the Sacrifice
15. 22,000 oxen
16. 120,000 sheep
17. the king and all the people dedicated the House for the CREATOR
18. the Priests stood at their posts
19. the Levites with the instruments of music to YHVH
20. which king David had made for giving praise to YHVH
21. for HIS Lovingkindness is Everlasting
22. and they gave praise with their hands
23. while the Priests on the other side blew trumpets
24. all Israel was standing
25. Solomon consecrated in the middle of the court before the House for YHVH
26. there he Offered the Burnt Offerings and the Fat from the Peace Offerings
27. because the Bronze Altar which Solomon had made
28. was not able to contain the Burnt Offering Grain Offering and the
Fat from the Peace Offerings
29. Solomon observed the Feast at that time for 7 days
30. all Israel with him in a very great assembly
31. from the entrance of hamath
32. to the brook of egypt
33. on the 8th day
34. they held a Solemn Assembly
35. for the dedication of the Altar
36. they observed the 7 days and the Feast for 7 days
37. on the 23rd day of the 7th month
38. he sent the people to their tents rejoicing and happy of heart
39. because of the Goodness YHVH had shown to David
40. and to Solomon and HIS People Israel
41. Solomon finished the House for YHVH and the king's palace
42. he successfully completed all he had planned on doing for the House
for YHVH and in his palace
43. YHVH Appeared to Solomon at night
44. Saying I have heard your prayer
45. I have Chosen this Palace for MYSELF as a House for Sacrifice
46. if I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain
47. or if I Command the locust to devour the Land
48. or if I send pestilence among MY People
49. for MY People who are called by MY Name humble themselves
50. pray seeking MY Face and turn from their wicked ways
51. I will Hear from Heaven
52. I will Forgive their sins and will heal their Land
53. now MY Eyes shall be open
54. and MY Ears attentive for prayer at this Palace
55. now I have Chosen
56. and Consecrated this House
57. that MY Name may be there forever
58. MY Eyes and MY Heart will be there perpetually
59. if you walk before ME as your father David walked
60. even to do according to all I have Commanded you
61. keep MY Statutes and MY Ordinances
62. I will Establish your royal throne
63. as I Covenanted with your father David
64. Saying you shall not lack a male to be ruler in Israel
65. if you turn away
66. and forsake MY Statutes and MY Commandments
67. which I have set before you
68. and go serve another creator and worship
69. I will uproot you from MY Land which I have Given you
70. and this House which I have Consecrated for MY Name
71. I will cast you out of MY Sight
72. I will Make this place a proverb and a byword among all peoples
73. as for this House which was exalted
74. everyone who passes by will be astonished
75. saying why has YHVH Done thus?
76. to this Land and to this House?
77. they will say because they forsook YHVH CREATOR of their fathers
78. WHO Brought them from the land of egypt
79. they adopted another creator to worship and serve
80. therefore HE has Brought all this adversity on them
Chapter 7 8:1
1. this came at the end of the 20 years
2. in which Solomon had built the House for YHVH and his own house
3. he built the cities which Huram had given to him
4. settled the sons of Israel there
5. Solomon went to hamath-zobah and captured ]
6. he built tadmor in the wilderness
7. all the storage cities which he had built in hamath
8. he also built upper beth-horon and lower beth-horon
9. the fortified cities with walls gates and bars
10. baalath and all the storage cities Solomon had built
11. all the cities for his chariots
12. cities for his horsemen
13. all that pleased Solomon to build for Jerusalem and lebanon
14. in all the Land under his rule
15. all of the people who were left from the hittites amorites perizzites
hivites and jebusites who were not of Israel
16. namely their descendants who were left after them in the Land
17. whom the sons of Israel had not destroyed
18. Solomon raised a force of laborers to this day
19. Solomon did not make slaves for his work from the sons of Israel
20. they were men for war his chief captains commanders of his chariots
and his horsemen
21. these were the chief officers of king Solomon
22. 250 who ruled over the people
23. Solomon brought pharaoh's daughter up
24. from the City of David to the house which he had built for her
25. he said my wife shall not dwell by the house of David king of Israel
26. because the places are Holy where the Ark for YHVH has entered
27. then Solomon Offered Burnt Offerings to YHVH
28. on the Altar for YHVH which he had built before the Porch
29. according to the daily rule of Offering them up
30. according to the Commandment thru Moses
31. for Sabbaths the New Moons and the 3 annual Feasts
32. the Feast of Unleavened Bread Feast of Weeks and Feast of Booths
33. according to the ordinance by his father David he appointed the
divisions of Priests for their service
34. the Levites for their duties of praising and ministering before the
Priests according to the daily rule
35. with the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate
36. for David a Male for the CREATOR had so commanded
37. they did not depart from the commandment by the king
38. the Priests and Levites in any manner concerning the storehouses
39. all the works of Solomon was carried out
40. from the day of the foundation for the House for YHVH until the
House was finished
41. so the House for YHVH was completed
42. then Solomon went to ezion-geber and eloth on the seashore in the
land of edom
43. for Huram by his servants sent him ships
44. and the servants who knew the sea
45. they went with Solomon's servants to ophir
46. took from there 450 talents of gold and brought them to king Solomon
