1 Kings
 Chapter 1	( part 1 )
1. [[ king David was old advanced in age,
2. they covered him with clothes but he could not keep warm.
3. his servants said let us seek a young virgin for my lord and king,
4. let her attend the king and become his nurse.
5. let her lie in his bosom,
6. that my lord and king may keep warm.
7. they searched for a beautiful girl throughout all the territory of Israel.
8. they found Abishag the Shunammite.
9. they brought her to the king,
10. the girl was very beautiful.
11. she became the king's nurse to serve him,
12. the king did not lay with her. ]
13. Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself,
14. saying i will be king.
15. he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen,
16. with 50 men to run before him.
17. his father had never crossed him at any time,
18. by asking why have you done so.
19. for he was also a very handsome male,
20. he was born after Absalom.
21. he had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and Abiathar the Priest,
22. to follow Adonijah by helping him.
23. Zadok the Priest,
24. Benaiah son of Jehoiada.
25. Nathan the Prophet,
26. Shimei and Rei.
27. nor the mighty men,
28. who belonged to David were not with Adonijah.
29. Adonijah sacrificed sheep  oxen and fatlings,
30. by the stone of zoheleth which is beside en-rogel.
31. he invited all his brothers and the king's sons,
32. all the men of Judah and the king's servants.
33. he did not invite Nathan the Prophet or Benaiah,
34. or the mighty men and Solomon his brother.
35. Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon,
36. saying have you not heard?
37. Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king,
38. and David our lord does not know.
39. now come please,
40. let me give you counsel to save your life and the life of your son Solomon.
41. go at once to king David,
42. say to him have you not my lord and king sworn to your maidservant?
43. saying surely Solomon your son shall be king after me to sit on my throne,
44. why has Adonijah become king?
45. behold while you are still there speaking with the king,
46. i will come in after you and confirm your words.
47. Bathsheba went to the king in the bedroom,
48. the king was very old and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.
49. Bathsheba bowed and prostrated herself before the king,
50. the king said what do you wish?
51. she said my lord you Swore to your maidservant,
52. by YHVH your CREATOR.
53. surely your son Solomon shall be king after me,
54. he shall sit on my throne.
55. now behold Adonijah is king,
56. now my lord and king you do not know?
57. he has sacrificed oxen  fatlings and sheep in abundance,
58. he has invited all the sons of the king.
59. Abiathar the Priest and Joab the commander of the army,
60. he has not invited Solomon your servant.
61. now my lord and king the eyes of all Israel are on you,
62. tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord and king after him.
63. otherwise this will come about as soon as my lord and king sleeps with his fathers,
64. i and my son Solomon will be considered offenders.
65. behold while she was still speaking with the king,
66. Nathan the Prophet came in for they had told the king.
67. saying here is Nathan the Prophet as he came in before the king,
68. he prostrated himself before the king with his face to the ground.
69. Nathan said my lord and king have you said Adonijah shall be king after me?
70. that he shall sit on my throne?
71. for he has gone down today,
72. he has sacrificed oxen  fatlings  sheep in abundance.
73. he has invited all the king's sons,
74. the commander of the army and Abiathar the Priest.
75. behold they are eating and drinking before him,
76. saying live as king Adonijah.
77. but i your servant and Zadok the Priest and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada,
78. and your servant Solomon he has not invited.
79. has this thing been done by my lord and king and not shown to your servants?
80. who should sit on the throne of my lord and to be king after him?
81. king David answered saying call Bathsheba to me,
82. she came into the king's presence and stood before the king.
83. the king Vowed saying,
84. as YHVH Lives WHO has Redeemed my life from all distress,
85. surely as i Vowed to you by YHVH the CREATOR of Israel,
86. saying your son Solomon shall be king after me.
87. he shall sit on my throne in my place for i will indeed do so this day,
88. Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground.
89. she prostrated herself before the king,
90. saying may my lord king David live forever.
91. king David said call to me  Zadok the Priest  Nathan the Prophet and 
    Benaiah the son of Jehoiada,
92. they came into the king's presence.
93. the king said take with you the servants of your lord,
94. have my son Solomon ride on my own mule to bring him down to gihon.
95. let Zadok the Priest and Nathan the Prophet Anoint him there as king over Israel,
96. blow the trumpet and say live as king Solomon.
97. you shall come up after him as he comes to sit on my throne to be king in my place,
98. for i have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and Judah.
99. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king,
100. said amen made so by YHVH the CREATOR and my lord and king.
101. David said say as YHVH has been with your lord and king,
102. may HE be with Solomon to make his throne greater than the throne of 
     your lord king David.
103. Zadok the Priest  Nathan the Prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada,
104. the cherethites and the pelethites went down.
105. they had Solomon ride on king Davids' mule bringing him to gihon,
106. Zadok the Priest took the {{ horn} Oil from the Tent.
107. Anointed Solomon and blew the trumpet,
108. all the people said live as king Solomon.
109. all the people went up after him as the people playing on flutes 
     rejoicing with great joy,
110. the earth shook at their noise.
111. now Adonijah and all the guests who were there,
112. heard this as they finished eating.
113. Joab heard the sound of the trumpet,
114. said why is the City making such an uproar?
115. while he was still speaking behold,
116. Jonathan the son of Abiathar the Priest came.
117. Adonijah said come in,
118. for you are a valiant male and bring good news.
119. Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah no,
120. our lord king David has made Solomon king.
121. the king has also sent with him Zadok the Priest and Nathan the Prophet,
122. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada and the cherethites and the pelethites.
123. they have made him ride on the king's mule,
124. Zadok the Priest and Nathan the Prophet have Anointed him king in gihon.
125. they have come up from there rejoicing so that the City is in an uproar,
126. this is the noise which you have heard.
127. besides Solomon has even taken his seat on the throne for the kingdom,
128. moreover the king's servants came with a blessing from our lord king David.
129. saying may your CREATOR make the name of Solomon better then his name,
130. and his throne greater than his own throne.
131. then the king bowed himself on the bed,
132. the king has also said may so the blessing be from YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
133. WHO has granted one to sit on my throne today,
134. while my own eyes see.
135. all the guests of Adonijah were terrified,
136. they arose and each went on his way.
137. Adonijah was afraid of Solomon,
138. he arose and went and took hold of the Horns of the Altar.
139. this was told Solomon,
140. saying behold Adonijah is afraid of king Solomon.
141. behold he has taken hold of the Horns of the Altar,
142. saying let king Solomon Swear to me today he will not put his servant 
     to death by the sword.
143. Solomon said if he will be a worthy male not one of his hairs will 
     fall to the ground,
144. if wickedness is found in him he will die.
145. king Solomon dismissed him,
146. they brought him down from the Altar.
147. he came and prostrated himself before king Solomon,
148. Solomon said go to your House.
Chapter 1	( part 2 )	2:1
149. as David's time to die drew near he charged Solomon his son,
150. saying i am going the way of all the earth.
151. be strong show yourself as a male.
152. keep the charge of YHVH your CREATOR to walk in HIS Ways.
153. to keep HIS Statutes  HIS Commandments  HIS Ordinances and HIS Testimonies,
154. according to what is written in the Law thru Moses.
155. that you may succeed in all you do and wherever you turn.
156. may YHVH carry out HIS Promise which HE Spoke concerning me.
157. Saying if your sons are careful of their way,
158. and walk before ME in truth.
159. with all their heart and with all their soul,
160. you shall not lack a male on the throne of Israel.
161. you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me,
162. what he did to the 2 commanders of the armies of Israel.
163. to Abner the son of Ner and to Amasa the son of Jether whom he killed also.
164. he shed the blood of war in peace.
165. for he put the blood of war on his belt,
166. about his waist  on his sandals and on his feet.
167. so act according to your wisdom,
168. do not let his gray hair go down to sheol in peace.
169. show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the gileadite. ]
170. let them be among those who eat at your table,
171. for they assisted me when i fled from Absalom your brother.
172. behold there is with you Shimei the son of Gera a Benjamite of bahurim,
173. who cursed me with a violent curse on the day i went to mahanaim.
174. he came down to me at the jordan,
175. i Swore to him by YHVH saying i will not put you to death by the sword.
176. now do not let him go unpunished,
177. for you are a wise male.
178. you will know what you ought to do to him,
179. bring his gray hair down to sheol with blood.
180. David slept with his fathers,
181. he was buried in the City of David.
182. the days David reigned over Israel,
183. 47 years he reigned in hebron.
184. 33 years he reigned in Jerusalem. ]
185. Solomon sat on the throne of David his father,
186. his kingdom was firmly established.
Chapter 1	( part 3 )	2:13
187. Adonijah the son of Haggith, ]
188. came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon.
189. she said do you come peacefully?
190. he said peacefully.
191. then he said i have something to say to you,
192. she said speak.
193. he said you know the kingdom was mine,
194. all Israel expected me to be king.
195. the kingdom has turned about,
196. became my brother's by YHVH.
197. now i am making 1 request of you  do not refuse me,
198. she said speak.
199. he said please speak to Solomon the king for he will not refuse you,
200. that he may give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife.
201. Bathsheba said very well,
202. i will speak to the king for you.
203. Bathsheba went to king Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah,
204. the king arose to meet her and bowed before her and sat on his throne.
205. he had a throne set for the king's mother,
206. she sat on his right.
207. she said i am making 1 small request do not refuse me,
208. the king said ask my mother for i will not refuse you.
209. she said let Abishag the Shunammite,
210. be given to Adonijah your brother as a wife.
211. king Solomon answered,
212. saying mother why are you asking Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? 
213. ask for him also the kingdom,
214. for he is my older brother.
215. even for him for Abiathar the Priest,
216. for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
217. king Solomon Swore by YHVH,
218. saying may the CREATOR do so to me and more also,
219. if Adonijah has not spoken this word,
220. against his own life.
221. now as YHVH Lives,
222. WHO has Established me and set me on the throne of David my father.
223. WHO has Made me a House as HE Promised,
224. surely Adonijah will be put to death today.
225. king Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada,
226. he fell upon him and he died.
227. to Abiathar the Priest the king said,
228. go to anathoth to your own field for you deserve to die.
229. i will not put you to death at this time,
230. because you carried the Ark for LORD YHVH before my father David.
231. because you were afflicted in everything,
232. which my father was afflicted.
233. Solomon dismissed Abiathar,
234. from being a Priest to YHVH.
235. in order to fulfill the Word from YHVH,
236. which he had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
237. now the news came to Joab,
238. for Joab had followed Adonijah although he had not followed Absalom.
239. Joab fled to the Tent of YHVH,
240. took hold of the Horns of the Altar.
241. they told king Solomon,
242. Joab had fled to the Tent of YHVH.
243. behold he is beside the Altar,
244. Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada.
245. saying go fall upon him.
246. Benaiah came to the Tent of YHVH.
247. saying thus the king has said come out,
248. he said no  i will die here.
249. Benaiah brought the king word again,
250. saying thus spoke Joab and thus he answered me.
251. the king said do as he has spoken,
252. fall upon him and bury him.
253. that you may remove from me and from my father's house,
254. for the blood which Joab shed without cause.
255. YHVH will return his blood on his own head,
256. because he fell upon 2 men more righteous and better than he.
257. he killed them with the sword,
258. while my father David did not know.
259. Abner the son of Ner commander for the army of Israel,
260. Amasa the son of Jether commander for the army of Judah.
261. so shall their blood return on the head of Joab,
262. on the head of his descendants forever.
263. but to David and his descendants and his house and his throne,
264. may there be peace from YHVH forever.
265. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up,
266. and fell upon him putting him to death.
267. he was buried at his own house in the wilderness. ]
268.         {( so the king had appointed Benaiah the son of Jehoiada,
269.         over the army in his place.
270.         the king appointed Zadok as Priest,
271.         in the place of Abiathar. )}
272. now the king sent,
273. called for Shimei.
274. said build for yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there,
275. do not go out from there to any place.
276. for this will happen on the day you go out,
277. and cross over the brook kidron.
278. you will know for certain you shall surely die,
279. for your blood shall be on your own head.
280. Shimei said,
281. the kings' word is good.
282. as my lord and king has said,
283. so your servant will do.
284. Shimei lived in Jerusalem many days.
285. came at the end of 3 years.
286. 2 of the servants of Shimei ran away,
287. to achish son of maacah king of gath.
288. they told Shimei saying behold your servants are in gath,
289. Shimei arose.
290. saddled his donkey and went to gath,
291. to achish to look for his servants.
292. Shimei went and brought his servants from gath,
293. they told Solomon Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to gath and had returned.
294. the king sent and called for Shimei,
295. said did i not make you Swear by YHVH and solemnly warn you.
296. saying you will know for certain on the day you depart to go anywhere you 
     shall surely die?
297. you said to me the word which i have heard is good.
298. why have you not kept the Oath to YHVH?
299. and the command which i have laid on you?
300. the king also said Shimei you know all the evil which you acknowledge in 
     your heart which you did to my father David,
301. YHVH shall return your evil on your own head.
302. king Solomon shall be blessed,
303. the throne of David shall be established before YHVH forever.
304. the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada,
305. he went out and fell upon him so he died.
306. thus the kingdom was established in the hands of Solomon. ]
Chapter 1	( part 4 )	3:1
307.         {{ Solomon formed a marriage alliance with pharaoh king of egypt,
308.         he took pharaoh's daughter and brought her to the City of David.
309.         until he had finished building his own house,
310.         the House for YHVH and the wall around Jerusalem.}
311. the people were still sacrificing on the high places,
312. because there was no house built for the Name YHVH until those days.
313. now Solomon loved YHVH,
314. walked in HIS Statutes like his father David.
315.{{ except he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places,
316. the king went to gibeon to sacrifice there for that was the Great High Place.}
317. Solomon Offered a 1,000 Burnt Offerings on the Altar in gibeon.
318. YHVH Appeared to Solomon in a dream at night.
319. the CREATOR Said ask what you wish ME to Give you?
320. Solomon said YOU have shown Great Lovingkindness to YOUR Servant David my father.
321. accordingly he walked before YOU in truth and righteousness,
322. with his uprightness of heart toward YOU.
323. YOU have reserved for him this Great Lovingkindness,
324. YOU have Given him a son to sit on his throne as is this day.
325. now YHVH my CREATOR,
326. YOU Made YOUR Servant king in place of my father David.
327. yet i am a little child,
328. i do not know how to go out or come in.
329. YOUR Servant is in the midst of YOUR People which YOU have Chosen,
330. a great people who cannot be numbered or counted but a multitude.
331. give YOUR Servant an understanding,
332. a heart to judge YOUR People.
333. to discern between good and evil,
334. for who is able to judge this great people of Yours'?
335. this was pleasing in the his Sight of LORD,
336. that Solomon had asked this thing.
337. the CREATOR Said because you have asked this thing,
338. you have not asked for yourself long life.
339. nor have you asked riches for yourself,
340. nor have you asked for the life of your enemies.
341. you asked for yourself discernment,
342. to understand justice.
343. behold I have Done according to your words.
344. behold I have Given you a wise and discerning heart.
345. so that there has been no one like you before you,
346. nor shall one like you arise after you.
347. I have also Given you what you have not asked,
348. both riches and honor.
349. so there will not be any among the kings,
350. like you all your days.
351. if you walk in MY Ways,
352. keeping MY Statutes and Commandments.
353. as your father David walked,
354. I will prolong your days.
355. Solomon awoke,
356. behold like a dream.
357. he came to Jerusalem,
358. stood before the Ark and the Covenant for YHVH.
359. he Offered Burnt Offerings and made Peace Offerings,
360. made a feast for all his servants.
Chapter 1	( part 5 )	3:16
361. then 2 women who were harlots,
362. came to the king and stood before him.
363. the 1 woman said oh my lord,
364. this woman and i live in the same house.
365. i gave birth to a child,
366. while she was in the house.
367. happened on the 3rd day after i gave birth,
368. this woman also gave birth to a child.
369. we were together and there was no stranger with us in the house,
370. only the 2 of us in the house.
371. this woman's son died in the night because she lay on,
372. she arose in the middle of the night and took my son from beside me.
373. while your maidservant slept she laid him in her bosom,
374. she laid her dead son in my bosom.
375. i rose in the morning to nurse my son,
376. behold he was dead.
377. when i looked at him carefully in the morning,
378. behold he was not my son whom i had borne.
379. the other woman said no  the living one is my son,
380. the dead one is your son.
381. the 1st woman said no  the dead one is your son,
382. the living one is my son.
383. thus they spoke before the king,
384. then the king said.
385. one says this is my son who is living,
386. your son is the dead one.
387. the other says no your son is the dead one,
388. my son is the living one.
389. the king said get me a sword,
390. they brought a sword before the king.
391. the king said divide the living child in 2,
392. give half to the one and half to the other.
393. the woman whose child was the living one spoke to the king,
394. for she was deeply stirred over her son.
395. saying oh my lord give her the living child and by no means kill him,
396. the other said he shall be neither mine nor yours divide him.
397. the king answered saying give the 1st woman the living child,
398. by no means kill him  she is his mother.
399. all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had handed down,
400. they feared the king for they saw the wisdom of the CREATOR was
     in him to administer justice.
Chapter 1	( part 6 )	4:1
401. king Solomon was king over all Israel,
402. these were his officials Azariah the son of Zadok was the Priest.
403. Elihoreph and Ahijah the sons of Shisha were secretaries,
404. Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was the recorder.
405. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army,
406. Zadok and Abiathar were Priests.
407. Azariah the son of Nathan was over the deputies,
408. Zabud the son of Nathan a Priest was the king's friend.
409. Ahishar was over the household,
410. Adoniram the son of Abda was over the men subject to forced labor.
411. Solomon had 12 deputies over all Israel who provided for the 
     king and his household,
412. each male had to provide for a month in the year.
413. these are their names,
414. Ben-hur in the hill country of Ephraim.
415. Ben-deker in makaz,
416. Shaalbim  Beth-shemesh  Elonbeth-hanan and Ben-hesed of arubboth.

418. ben-abinadab in all the height of dor,
419.         {( Taphath the daughter of Solomon was his wife )}
420. Baana the son of Ahilud from taanach, ]
421. megiddo and all of beth-shean,
422. which is beside zarethan and below jezreel.
423. from beth-shean to abel-meholah,
424. as far as the other side of jokmeam.
425. Ben-geber from ramoth-gilead 
426.         {( and the towns of jair the son of manasseh,
427.         which are in gilead were his in the region of argob.
428.         which is in bashan 60 great cities,
429.         with walls and bronze bars were his )}
430. Ahinadab the son of Iddo from mahanaim,
431. Ahimaaz from naphtali.
432.         {( he also married Basemath the daughter of Solomon )}
433. Baana the son of Hushai from Asher,
434. Bealoth and Jehoshaphat the sons of Paruah from Issachar.
435. Shimei the son of Ela from Benjamin,
436. Geber the son of Uri from the land of gilead.
437. from the country of sihon king of the amorites,
438. og king of bashan was the only deputy who was from the land.
439. Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore,
440. with abundance they were eating  drinking and rejoicing.
441. now Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms,
442. from the river to the land of the philistines to the border of egypt.
443. they brought tribute and served Solomon,
444. all the days of his life.
445. Solomon's provision for 1 day,
446.  30 kors of fine flour and  60 kors of meal.
447.  10 fat oxen  20 pasture oxen and a 100 sheep,
448. besides deer  gazelles  roebucks and fattened fowl.
449. for he had dominion over everything west of the river,
450. from tiphsah even to gaza.
451. over all the kings west of the river,
452. for he had peace on all sides around about him.
453. Judah and Israel lived in safety,
454. every male under his vine and his fig tree.
455. from dan even to beersheba,
456. all the days of Solomon.
457. Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses,
458. for his chariots and 12,000 horsemen.
459. those deputies provided for king Solomon,
460. for all whom came to king Solomon's table.
461. for each in his month,
462. they left nothing lacking for them.
463. also brought them barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds,
464. to the place where is for each according to his charge.
Chapter 1	( part 7 )	4:29
465. the CREATOR Gave Solomon wisdom with very great discernment,
466. a breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore.
467. Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east,
468. and all the wisdom of egypt for he was wiser than all men.
469.          {{ even ethan the ezrahite,
470.          heman  calcol  darda the sons of mahol.
471.          his fame was in all the surrounding nations,}
472. he also spoke 3,000 proverbs
473. and his songs were 1,005.
474. he spoke of trees from the cedar that is in lebanon,
475. even to the hyssop that grows on the wall.
476. he spoke also of animals and birds,
477. and creeping things and fish.
478. man came from all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon,
479. all the kings of earth who had heard of his wisdom.
Chapter 1	( part 8 )	5:1
480. Hiram king of tyre sent his servants to Solomon,
481. when he heard they had Anointed him king in place of his father.
482. for Hiram had always been a friend of David.
483. Solomon sent word to Hiram.
484. saying you know David my father,
485. he was unable to build a House for the Name YHVH his CREATOR.
486. because of the wars which surrounded him,
487. until YHVH put them under the soles of his feet.
488. now YHVH my CREATOR has given me rest on every side,
489. there is neither adversary nor misfortune.
490. behold i intend to build a House for the Name YHVH my CREATOR,
491. as YHVH Spoke to David my father.
492. Saying your son whom I will set on your throne in your place,
493. he will build the House for MY Name.
494. now command that they cut for me cedars from lebanon,
495. my servants will be with your servants.
496. i will give you wages for your servants,
497. according to all you say.
498. for you know there is no one among us,
499. who knows how to cut timber like the sidonians.
500. came as Hiram heard the words of Solomon,
501. he rejoiced greatly.
502. he said blessed by YHVH today,
503. WHO has given to David a wise son over this great people.
504. Hiram sent to Solomon,
505. saying i have heard which you have sent me.
506. i will do what you desire concerning the cedar and cypress timber,
507. my servants will bring them down from lebanon to the sea.
508. i will make them into rafts to go by sea,
509. to the place where you direct me.
510. i will have them broken up there,
511. you shall carry them away.
512. then you shall accomplish my desire,
513. by giving food to my household.
514. Hiram gave Solomon as much as he desired,
515. of cedar and cypress timber.
516. Solomon then gave Hiram,
517.  20,000 kors of wheat as food for his household.
518.  20 kors of beaten oil,
519. thus Solomon would give Hiram year by year.
520. YHVH Gave wisdom to Solomon,
521. just as HE Promised him.
522. there was peace between Hiram and Solomon,
523. the 2 of them made a Covenant.
524. king Solomon levied forced laborers from all Israel,
525. the forced laborers numbered 30,000 men.
526. he sent them to lebanon 10,000 a month in relays,
527. they were in lebanon a month and 2 months at home.
528.         {{ adoniram was over the forced laborers}
529. now Solomon had 70,000 transporters,
530. 80,000 hewers in the mountains.
531. besides Solomon's 3,300 chief deputies who were over the project,
532. who ruled over the people who were doing the work.
533. the king commanded they quarried great stones,
534. costly stones to lay as a Foundation for the House.
535. with cut stones Solomon's builders built 
536. Hiram's builders and the gebalites cut preparing the timbers and 
     stones to build the House.
Chapter 1	( part 9 )	6:1
537. came in the 480th year,
538. after the sons of Israel came out of the land of egypt.
539. in the 4th year of Solomon's reign over Israel,
540. in the month of ziv which is the 2nd month.
541. he began to build the House for YHVH,

550. against the walls of the House.

     the 3rd was 7 cubits wide.

556. in order beams not to be inserted in the walls of the House.

558. the working of stone was prepared at the quarry.
559. there was neither hammer  nor axe  nor any iron tool,
560. was heard in the House while the House was being built.
561. the doorway for the lowest side chamber,
562. was on the right side of the House.
563. they would go up by winding stairs to the middle,
564. from the middle to the 3rd.
565. he covered the House with beams and planks of cedar.

570. Saying in this House which you are building.
571. if you will walk in MY Statutes and execute MY Ordinances,
572. keep all MY Commandments by walking in Them.
573. I will carry out MY Word with you,
574. which I Spoke to David your father.
575. I will Dwell among the sons of Israel,
576. I will not forsake MY People Israel.
577. Solomon built the House and finished,
578. he built the walls of the House on the inside with boards of cedar.
579. from the floor of the House to the ceiling he overlaid the inside with wood,
580. he overlaid the floor of the House with boards of cypress.
581. he built 20 cubits for the rear part of the House,
582. with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling.
583. he built them on the inside for an Inner Sanctuary,
584. the Most Holy Place of the House.
585. the Nave in front was 40 cubits,
586. there was a cedar House within.
587. carved with gourds and open flowers,
588. all was cedar for there was no stone seen.
589. he prepared the Inner Sanctuary within the House,
590. in order to place there the Ark and the Covenant for YHVH.
591. the Inner Sanctuary was 20 cubits in length,
592. 20 cubits in width.
593. 20 cubits in height,
594. he overlaid with pure gold.
595. he overlaid the Altar of cedar.
596. so Solomon overlaid the inside of the House with pure gold,
597. he drew chains of gold across the front, ]
598. the Inner Sanctuary he overlaid with gold.
599. he overlaid the whole House with gold,
600. until all the House was finished.
601. the whole Altar which was by the Inner Sanctuary,
602. he overlaid with gold. 
603. for the Inner Sanctuary he made 2 Cherubim of olive wood,
604. each 10 cubits high.
605.  5 cubits was the 1 wing of the Cherub,
606.  5 cubits the other wing of the Cherub.
607. the end of 1 wing to the end of the other wing were 10 cubits,
608. the other Cherub was 10 cubits.
609. both the Cherubim,
610. were of the same measure and the same form.
611. the height of the 1 Cherub was 10 cubits,
612. so was the other Cherub.
613. he placed the Cherubim in the midst of the Inner House,
614. the wings of the Cherubim were spread out.
615. the wing of 1 was touching the wall,
616. the wing of the other Cherub was touching the other wall.
617. their wings were touching each other in the center of the House,
618. he overlaid the Cherubim with gold.
619. he carved all the walls of the House round about,
620. with carved engravings of cherubim  palm trees and open flowers.
621. in the Inner and Outer,
622. he overlaid the floor of the House with gold.
623. for the Inner and Outer entrances,
624. as the Inner Sanctuary he made the doors from olive wood.
625. the lintel and 5-sided doorposts,
626. and the 2 doors from olive wood.
627. he carved on them carvings of cherubim  palm trees and open flowers 
     and overlaid them with gold,
628. he spread gold on the cherubim and on the palm trees.
629. so he made for the entrance from the Nave,
630. 4-sided doorposts of olive wood with 2 Doors of cypress wood.
631. the 2 leaves of the 1 Door turned on pivots,
632. the 2 leaves of the other Door turned on pivots.
633. he carved on them cherubim  palm trees and open flowers,
634. he overlaid them with gold evenly applied on the engraved work.
635. he built the Inner Court with 3 rows of cut stone,
636. with a row of cedar beams.

637. in the 4th year the foundation for the House for YHVH was laid,
638. in the month of ziv in the 11th year.
639. in the month of bul which is in the 8th month,
640. the House was finished throughout.
641. all the parts according to all the plans,
642. he was 7 years in building.
643. Solomon was building his own house 13 years,
644. he finished all his house.
645. he built the house in the forest of lebanon.
646. the length was 100 cubits.
647. the width 50 cubits,
648. the height 30 cubits.
649. 4 rows of cedar pillars with cedar beams on the pillars,
650. he paneled with cedar above the side chambers.
651. which were on the 45 pillars,
652. 15 in each row.
653. the window frames in 3 rows,
654. the windows were opposite window in 3 ranks.
655. all the doorways and doorposts had squared frames,
656. the windows were opposite window in 3 ranks.
657. he made a hall with pillars,
658. the length was 50 cubits and the width 30 cubits.
659. a porch was in front of them,
660. with the pillars and threshold in front of them.
661. he made the hall for the throne,
662. where he was to judge,
663. the hall of judgment was paneled with cedar,
664. floor to floor.
665. his house where he was to live,
666. the other court inward from the hall was of the same workmanship.
667.         {{ he also made a house like this hall for pharaoh's daughter,
668.         whom Solomon had married.}
669. all these were of costly stones,
670. stones cut according to measurements.
671. sawed with saws inside and outside,
672. even from the foundation to the coping of the outside the Great Court.

Chapter 1	( part 11 )	7:13
683. king Solomon sent to bring Hiram from tyre,
684. he was a widow's son from the tribe from Naphtali.
685. his father was a male of tyre,
686. a worker in bronze.
687. he was filled with wisdom and understanding,
688. skilled in doing any work in bronze.
689. he came to king Solomon,
690. to perform all his work.
691. he fashioned 2 Pillars of bronze,
692. 18 cubits was the height of 1 Pillar.
693. a line of 12 cubits,
694. measured the circumference of both.
695. he also made 2 Capitals by molten bronze,
696. to set on the tops of the Pillars.
697. the height of the 1 Capital was 5 cubits,
698. the height of the other Capital was 5 cubits.
699. there were Nets of Network,
700. twisted threads of Chainwork for the Capitals.
701. which were on the top of the Pillars,
702. 7 for the 1 Capital and 7 for the other Capital.
703. he made for the Pillars 2 rows around,
704. 1 Network to cover the Capitals.
705. which were on the top with Pomegranates,
706. so he did for the other Capital.
707. the Capitals which were on top of the Pillars,
708. on the Porch were of lily design of 4 cubits.
709. there were Capitals on the 2 Pillars even above,
710. close to the rounded projection which was beside the Network.
711. the Pomegranates 200 in rows,
712. around both Capitals.
713. thus he set up the Pillars,
714. the Porch and Nave.
715. he set up the right Pillar and named this Jachin,
716. he set up the left Pillar and named this Boaz.
717. on the top of the Pillars was lily designs,
718. so the work of the Pillars were finished.
719. he made the Sea from a cast,
720. 10 cubits from Brim to Brim circular in form.
721. the height was 5 cubits,
722. 30 cubits in circumference.
723. under the Brim Gourds went around,
724. encircling 10 to a cubit.
725. completely surrounding the Sea the Gourds were in 2 rows,
726. cast like the rest and stood on 12 oxen.
727.  3 facing north
728.  3 facing west.
729.  3 facing south,
730.  3 facing east.
731. the Sea was set on top of them,
732. all their rear parts inward.
733. a handbreadth thick the brim was made like the Brim of a cup,
734. as a lily blossom this could hold 2,000 baths.
735. he made the 10 Stands of bronze,
736. the length of each Stand was 4 cubits.
737. the width 4 cubits,
738. the height 3 cubits.
739. this was the design of the Stands borders,
740. even the borders between the frames.
741. on the borders which were between the frames,
742. were lions  oxen and cherubim on the frames.
743. there was a pedestal above and beneath the lions and oxen with 
      wreaths of hanging work.
744. each Stand had 4 bronze wheels with bronze axles,
745. the 4 feet had supports beneath,
746. the Basin were cast supports with Wreaths at each side.
747. the opening inside the crown at the top was a cubit,
748. the opening was round like the design of a pedestal a cubit and a half.
749. also on the opening were engravings,
750. their borders were square not round.
751. the 4 wheels were underneath the borders,
752. the axles of the wheels were on the Stand,
753. the height of a wheel was a cubit and a 1/2,
754.         {{ the workmanship of the wheels was like the workmanship 
     of a chariot wheel}
755. their axles  their rims  their spokes and their hubs were all cast.
756. there were 4 supports at the 4 corners of each Stand,
757. the supports were part of the Stands themself.
758. on the top of the Stand was a circular form 1/2 a cubit high,
759. on the top of the Stand  Stays and Borders were part of this.
760. he engraved on the plates of the Stays and on the Borders cherubim 
     lions and palm trees,
761. according to the clear space on each with wreaths around.
762. he made the 10 Stands like this,
763. for all of them had 1 casting 1 measure and 1 form.
764. he made 10 Basins of bronze,
765. 1 Basin held 40 baths.
766. each Basin was 4 cubits,
767. on each of the 10 Stands was 1 Basin.
768. he set the Stands 5 on the right side of the House,
769.  5 on the left side of the House.
770. he set the Sea on the right side of the House,
771. eastward toward the south.
772. Hiram made the Basins,
773. the Shovels and the Bowls.
774. Hiram finished doing all the work,
775. which he performed for king Solomon for the House for YHVH.
776. the 2 Pillars  the Bowls and the Capitals,
777. which were on the top of the 2 Pillars.
778. the 2 Networks to cover the 2 Bowls on the Capitals,
779. which were on the top of the Pillars.
780. the 400 Pomegranates for the 2 Networks,
781. 2 rows of Pomegranates for each Network.
782. they cover the 2 Bowls on the Capitals,
783. which were on the tops of the Pillars.
784. the 10 Stands with the 10 Basins in the Stands,
785. the 1 Sea and the 12 Oxen under the Sea.
786. the Pails  the Shovels and the Bowls,
787. even all these Utensils which Hiram made for king Solomon and in 
     the House for YHVH were of polished bronze.
788. in the plain of the jordan the king cast them,
789. in the clay ground between succoth and zarethan.
790. Solomon left off all the Utensils because they were too many,
791. for the weight of the bronze could not be ascertained.
792. Solomon made all the Furniture,
793. which was in the House for YHVH.
794. the Golden Altar,
795. the Golden Table which was for the Bread of Presence.
796. the Lampstands 5 on the right side 5 on the left,
797. in front of the Inner Sanctuary of pure gold.
798. the Flowers on the Lamps and the Tongs of gold,
799. Cups  Snuffers  Bowls  Spoons and Firepans of pure gold.
800. hinges for both Doors,
801. for the Inner House and the Most Holy Place.
802. the Doors of the House and Nave were of gold,
803. thus was all the work that king Solomon had him perform.
804. the House for YHVH was finished,
805. Solomon brought in the things dedicated by his father David,
806. the silver and the gold and the Utensils.
807. he put them in the treasuries of the House for YHVH.
Chapter 2		8:1
1. Solomon assembled the Elders of Israel,
2. all the Heads of the tribes.
3. the Leaders and the Fathers',
4. from the sons of Israel to king Solomon in Jerusalem.
5. to bring up the Ark with the Covenant from YHVH,
6. from the City of David which is Zion.
7. all the men of Israel assembled themselves to king Solomon,
8. at the Feast time in the month ethanim which is the 7th month.
9. all the Elders of Israel came with the Priests to take up the Ark,
10. they brought up the Ark from YHVH and the Tent of Meeting.
11. all the Holy Utensils which were in the Tent,
12. the Priests and Levites brought them up.
13. king Solomon and all the congregation of Israel,
14. who assembled to him before the Ark.
15. they were Sacrificing so many sheep and oxen,
16. they could not be counted or numbered.
17. the Priests brought the Ark with the Covenant from YHVH,
18. to the place in the Inner Sanctuary of the House.
19. to the MOST HOLY Place and under the wings of the Cherubim,
20. for the Cherubim spread their wings over the place of the Ark.
21. the cherubim made a covering over the Ark.
22. with the poles above were placed the Mercy Seat. 
23. {{ the poles were so long that the ends of the poles could be seen 
    from the Holy Place before the Inner Sanctuary.}
24. they could not be seen outside,
25. they are there to this day.
26. there was nothing in the Ark except the 2 Tablets of Stone,
27. which Moses put there at {{ Horeb} Sinai
28. where YHVH Made a Covenant with the sons of Israel,
29. when they came out of the land of egypt.
30. came as the Priests came from the Holy Place,
31. a Cloud filled the House for YHVH.
32. the Priests could not stand to minister because of the Cloud,
33. for the GLORY of YHVH filled the House for YHVH.
34. Solomon said YHVH has Said HE Dwells in a Thick Cloud,
35. i have surely built YOU a Lofty House as a place for YOUR Dwelling forever.
36. the king faced about,
37. blessed all the assembly of Israel.
38. while all the assembly of Israel was standing,
39. he said be blessed by YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
40. WHO Spoke with HIS Mouth to my father David,
41. HE has fulfilled this by HIS Hand.
42. Saying since the day I Brought MY People Israel from egypt,
43. I did not choose a City out of all the tribes of Israel.
44. in which to build a House that MY Name might be there,
45. I Chose David to be over MY People Israel.
46. in the heart of my father David was to build a House,
47. for the Name YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
48. YHVH Said to my father David,
49. because this was in your heart to build a House for MY Name.
50. you did well that this was in your heart,
51. nevertheless you shall not build the House.
52. but your son who shall be born to you,
53. he shall build a House for MY Name.
54. YHVH has fulfilled HIS Word which HE Spoke,
55. for i have risen in place of my father David.
56. to sit on the throne of Israel as YHVH Promised,
57. i have built a House for the Name YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
58. there i have set a place for the Ark,
59. in which has the Covenant from YHVH.
60. which HE Made with our fathers,
61. when HE Brought them from the land of egypt.
62. Solomon stood before the Altar for YHVH,
63. in the presence of all the assembly of Israel.
64. he spread out his hands toward the heavens,
65. saying YHVH  CREATOR of Israel.
66. there is no CREATOR like YOU,
67. in heaven above or on earth beneath.
68. WHO is Keeping the Covenant by Showing Lovingkindness to HIS Servants,
69. who walk before YOU with all their heart.
70. WHO have Kept with YOUR Servant my father David,
71. which YOU have Promised him.
72. indeed YOU have Spoken with YOUR Mouth,
73. and have fulfilled this with YOUR Hand as this is this day.
74. now YHVH the CREATOR of Israel has keep this with YOUR Servant David my father.
75. which YOU have Promised him.
76. Saying you shall not lack a male to sit on the throne of Israel,
77. if only your sons take heed to their way to walk before ME as you have walked.
78. now CREATOR of Israel,
79. let YOUR Word i pray to YOU be confirmed.
80. that which YOU have Spoken to YOUR Servant,
81. to my father David.
82. the CREATOR indeed Dwells on the earth.
83. behold the heavens and the Highest Heaven cannot contain YOU.
84. how much less this House which i have built?
85. regard the prayer of YOUR Servant and to my supplication.
86. YHVH my CREATOR,
87. listen to the cry of the prayer which YOUR Servant prays before YOU today.
88. that YOUR Eyes may be open toward this House night and day.
89. toward the Place of which YOU have Said MY Name shall be There.
90. listen to the prayer which YOUR Servants shall pray toward this place.
91. listen to the supplication of YOUR Servants and of YOUR People Israel.
92. when they pray toward this Place may YOU Hear in Heaven.
93. from YOUR Dwelling Place Hear and Forgive.
94. if a male sins against his neighbor,
95. and is made to take an Oath.
96. he comes and takes an Oath,
97. before YOUR Altar in this House,
98. then hear from Heaven,
99. Act by Judging YOUR Servants.
100. condemning the wicked by bringing his way on his own head,
101. justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness.
102. when YOUR People Israel are defeated before an enemy,
103. because they have sinned against YOU.
104. if they turn to YOU again and confess YOUR Name,
105. pray and make supplication to YOU by this House.
106. then hear from Heaven,
107. Forgive the sins of YOUR People Israel.
108. bring them back to the Land,
109. which YOU Did Give to their fathers.
110. when the heavens are shut up and there is no rain,
111. because they have sinned against YOU.
112. they pray toward this Place and confess YOUR Name,
113. they turn from their sin when YOU do afflict them.
114. then hear from Heaven,
115. Forgive the sins of YOUR Servants of YOUR People Israel.
116. indeed teach them the Good Way in which they should walk,
117. send rain on YOUR Land which YOU have Given YOUR People for an Inheritance.
118. if there is famine in the Land,
119. if there is pestilence.
120. if there is blight or mildew  locust or grasshopper,
121. if their enemy besieges them in the Land of their cities.
122. whatever plague,
123. whatever sickness there is.
124. whatever prayer or supplication is made,
125. by any man or by all YOUR People Israel.
126. each knowing the affliction of his own heart,
127. spreading his hands toward this House.
128. then Heard by YOU in Heaven,
129. from YOUR Dwelling Place and Forgive.
130. Act and Render to each according to all his ways whose heart YOU Know,
131. for YOU Alone do Know the hearts of all the sons of men.
132. that they may fear YOU all the days they live in the Land,
133. which YOU have Given to our fathers.
134. also concerning the foreigner,
135. who is not of YOUR People Israel.
136. when he comes from a far country for YOUR Name's sake,
137. [( for they will hear of YOUR Great Name.
138. for YOUR Mighty Hand and of YOUR Outstretched Arm, )]
139. when he comes and prays toward this House.
140. YOU hear from Heaven from YOUR Dwelling Place,
141. do according to all which the foreigner calls to YOU.
142. in order that all the peoples of the earth may know YOUR Name,
143. to fear YOU as do YOUR People Israel.
144. that they may know this House,
145. which i have built is to called on YOUR Name.
146. when YOUR People go out to battle against their enemy,
147. by whatever way YOU shall send them.
148. they pray to YHVH and toward the City,
149. which YOU have Chosen for YOUR House.
150. which i have built for YOUR Name,
151. then Hear in Heaven their prayer and their supplication.
152. maintain their cause when they sin against YOU,
153. [( for there is no male who does not sin. )]
154. YOU are Angry with them and do Deliver them to an enemy,
155. so they take them away captive to the land of the enemy.
156. far off or near if they take thought in the land where they have 
     been taken captive,
157. repent and make supplication to YOU in the land of those who have 
     taken them captive.
158. saying we have sinned  committed iniquity and acted wickedly,
159. if they return to YOU with all their heart with all their soul in 
      the land of their enemies.
160. who have taken them captive and pray to YOU toward their Land,
161. which YOU have Given to their fathers.
162. the City which YOU Chose for YOUR House,
163. which i have built for YOUR Name.
164. then Hear their prayer and their supplication from Heaven,
165. from YOUR Dwelling Place maintain their cause.
166. Forgive YOUR People who have sinned against YOU,
167. all their transgressions which they have transgressed against YOU.
168. give them of compassion before those who have taken them captive,
169. that they may have compassion on them.
170. [( for they are YOUR People and YOUR Inheritance,
171. which YOU have Brought Forth from egypt from the midst of the iron furnace. )]
172. that YOUR Eyes may be Open to the supplication of YOUR Servant,
173. and to the supplication of YOUR People Israel.
174. to listen to them whenever they call to YOU,
175. for YOU Separated them from all the peoples of earth as YOUR Inheritance.
176. for as YOU did Speak through Moses YOUR Servant,
177. when YOU Did Bring our fathers Forth from egypt.
178. LORD YHVH came as Solomon had finished praying this entire prayer 
     and supplication to YHVH,
179. he arose from before the Altar for YHVH.
180. from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread toward the heavens,
181. he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice.
182. saying be blessed by YHVH WHO has Given rest to HIS People Israel,
183. according to all HE Promised.
184. not one word has failed of all HIS Good Promises,
185. which HE Promised through Moses HIS Servant.
186. may YHVH our CREATOR be with us as HE was with our fathers,
187. may HE not leave us or forsake us.
188. that HE may incline our hearts to HIMSELF,
189. to walk in all HIS Ways.
190. to keep HIS Commandments  HIS Statutes and HIS Ordinances,
191. which HE Commanded our fathers.
192. may these words of mine with which i have made supplication before YHVH,
193. be near to YHVH our CREATOR day and night.
194. that HE may maintain the cause of HIS Servant,
195. the cause of HIS People Israel as each day requires.
196. so all the peoples of the earth will know YHVH is the CREATOR,
197. there is no one else.
198. let your heart be wholly devoted to YHVH our CREATOR.
199. walk in HIS Statutes and to keep HIS Commandments as this day.
200. the king and all Israel with him,
201. Offered Sacrifice before YHVH.
202. Solomon Offered the Sacrifice and Peace Offerings,
203. which he Offered to YHVH.
204. 22,000 oxen,
205. 120,000 sheep.
206. the king and all the sons of Israel,
207. dedicated the House for YHVH.
208. on the same day the king consecrated the middle court, ]
209. before the House for YHVH.
210. because there he Offered the Burnt Offering,
211. Grain Offering and the Fat of the Peace Offerings.
212. the Bronze Altar before YHVH was too small to hold the Burnt Offering,
213. Grain Offering and the Fat of the Peace Offerings.
214. Solomon observed the Feast at that time,
215. all Israel was with him.
216. a great assembly,
217. from the entrance of hamath to the brook of egypt.
218. before YHVH our CREATOR for 7 days,
219. 7th day to 14 day.
220. on the 8th day he sent the people,
221. going they blessed the king.
222. then they went to their tents,
223. joyful and glad of heart.
224. for all the Goodness YHVH had Shown,
225. to David HIS Servant and to Israel HIS People.
Chapter 3	9:1
1. came as Solomon finished building the House for YHVH and the king's house.
2. all Solomon desired to do.
3. YHVH Appeared to Solomon a 2nd time,
4. like HE Appeared to him at gibeon.
5. YHVH Said I have Heard your prayer and supplication which you have made before ME.
6. I have Consecrated this House which you have built.
7. by putting MY Name there forever,
8. MY Eyes and MY Heart will be there perpetually.
9. as for you if you will walk before ME as your father David walked,
10. with integrity of heart and uprightness.
11. doing according to all I have Commanded you,
12. to keep MY Statutes and MY Ordinances.
13. I will Establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever.
14. just as I Promised to your father David.
15. Saying you shall not lack a male on the throne of Israel.
16. but if you or your sons shall indeed turn away from following ME.
17. they do not keep MY Commandments and MY Statutes,
18. which I have set before you.
19. go and serve another creator and worship them,
20. I will cut off Israel from the Land which I have Given them.
21. MY House which I have Consecrated for MY Name,
22. I will cast out of MY Sight.
23. Israel will become a proverb,
24. a byword among all peoples.
25. this House will become a heap of ruins,
26. everyone who passes by will be astonished and hiss.
27. saying why has YHVH Done thus to this?
28. to the Land and to This House?
29. they will say because they forsook YHVH their CREATOR,
30. WHO Brought their fathers out of the land of egypt.
31. they adopted another creator to worship and serve.
32. therefore YHVH has brought all this adversity on them.
33. came at the end of 20 years,
34. which Solomon had built the 2 houses.
35. the House for YHVH and the king's house,
36. {( for Hiram king of tyre had supplied Solomon.
37. with cedar and cypress timber gold according to all his desire )}
38. then king Solomon gave Hiram 20 cities in the land of galilee.
39. Hiram came out from tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him,
40. they did not please him for he said what are these cities which you 
    have given me my brother? 
41. so they were called the land of cabul to this day,
42. Hiram sent to the king for 120 talents of gold.
43. this is for the account of the forced labor,
44. which king Solomon levied to build.
45. the House for YHVH and his own house,
46. the millo  the Wall of Jerusalem  hazor  megiddo and gezer.
47. for pharaoh king of egypt had gone up,

58. all that this pleased Solomon to build for Jerusalem.

    his horsemen.
69. these were the chief officers who were over Solomon's work,
70.  550 who ruled over the people doing the work.
71. soon as pharaoh's daughter came up from the City of David.

    Offerings on the Altar,
74. which he built to YHVH and Burned Incense on the Altar which was 
    before YHVH.
Chapter 4	9:25.2
1. so he finished the House,
2. king Solomon also built a fleet of ships in ezion-geber.
3. which is near eloth,
4. on the shore of the red sea in the land of edom.
5. Hiram sent his servants with the fleet,
6. sailors who knew the sea along with the servants of Solomon.
7. they went to ophir and took 420 talents of gold from there,
8. they brought to king Solomon.
9. the queen of sheba heard,
10. about the fame of Solomon.
11. concerning the Name YHVH,
12. she came to test him with difficult questions.
13. so she came to Jerusalem,
14. with a very large retinue.
15. with camels carrying spices,
16. very much gold and precious stones.
17. when she came to Solomon,
18. she spoke with him about all that was in her heart.
19. Solomon answered all her questions,
20. nothing was hidden from the king.
21. which he did not explain to her,
22. when the queen of sheba perceived.
23. all the wisdom of Solomon,
24. and the House that he had built.
25. the food on his table,
26. the seating of his servants.
27. the attendance of his waiters,
28. the attire of his cupbearers.
29. {{ his stairway by which he went up to the House for YHVH.}
30. there was no more spirit in her,
31. then she said king this was a true report.
32. which i heard in my own land,
33. about your words and your wisdom.
34. i did not believe the reports,
35. until i came.
36. my eyes had seen,
37. behold half was not told me.
38. you exceed in wisdom and prosperity,
39. from the report which i heard.
40. how blessed are your men,
41. how blessed are these your servants.
42. who stand before you continually,
43. to hear your wisdom.
44. blessed by YHVH your CREATOR,
45. WHO Delighted in you to set you on the throne of Israel.
46. because YHVH Loves Israel Forever,
47. therefore he made you king to do justice and righteousness.
48. she gave the king 120 talents of gold,
49. a very great amount of spices and precious stones.
50. never again did such abundance of spices come in,
51. which the queen of sheba gave king Solomon.
52. also the ships of Hiram,
53. which brought gold from ophir.
54. they brought in from ophir,
55. a very great almug trees and precious stones.
56. the king made from the almug trees supports for the House for 
    YHVH and the king's house.
57. also lyres and harps for the singers.
58. such almug trees have not come in again,
59. nor have they been seen to this day.
60. king Solomon gave to the queen of sheba,
61. all her desire of which she requested.
62. besides what he gave her according to his royal bounty,
63. she turned and went to her own land together with her servants.
Chapter 5	10:14
1. the weight of gold which came in to Solomon in 1 year,
2. 666 talents of gold.
3. besides that from the traders and the wares of the merchants,
4. all the kings of the arabs and the governors of the country.
5. king Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold,
6. using 600 of gold on each large shield.
7. he made 300 shields of beaten gold using 3 minas of gold on each shield,
8. the king put them in the house in the forest of lebanon.
9. the king made a great throne of ivory,
10. overlaid this with refined gold.
11. there were 6 steps to the throne with a round top,
12. the throne at the rear had arms on each side of the seat.
13. with 2 lions standing beside the arms,
14. 12 lions were standing there on the 6 steps.
15. on 1 side and on the other,
16. nothing like this was made in any other kingdom.
17. all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold,
18. all the vessels for the house in the forest of lebanon were from pure gold.
19. none was of silver,
20. for this was not considered valuable in the days of Solomon.
21. for the king had at sea,
22. the ships of tarshish with the ships of Hiram.
23. once every 3 years the ships of tarshish came,
24. bringing  gold  silver  ivory  apes and peacocks.
25. king Solomon became greater than all the kings on the earth,
26. by riches and by wisdom.
27. all the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon,
28. to hear his wisdom which the CREATOR had put in his heart.
29. they brought every male his gift,
30. articles of silver and gold.
31. garments  weapons  spices  horses and mules,
32. so much year by year.
33. Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen,
34. he had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen.
35. he stationed them in the chariot cities,
36. and with the king in Jerusalem.
37. the king made silver as common as the stones in Jerusalem,
38. he made cedars as plentiful as sycamore trees that are in the lowland.
39. also Solomon imported horses from egypt and kue,
40. the king's merchants procured them from kue for a price.
41. a chariot was imported from egypt for 600 of silver,
42. a horse for 150.
43. by the same means they exported them,
44. to all the kings of the hittites and to the kings of the arameans.
Chapter 6	11:1
1. king Solomon loved many foreign women,
2. along with the daughter of pharaoh.
3. moabite  ammonite  edomite  sidonian and hittite,
4. women from the nations.
5. concerning which YHVH Said to the sons of Israel,
6. you shall not associate with them.
7. neither shall they associate with you,
8. for they will surely turn your heart away after their creators.
9. Solomon held fast to these by love,
10. for he had 700 wives and princesses.
11.  300 concubines,
12. his wives turned his heart away.
13. came when Solomon was old,
14. his wives turned his heart away after another creator.
15. his heart was not wholly devoted to YHVH his CREATOR,
16. as the heart of David his father had been.
17. for Solomon went after ashtoreth the goddess of the sidonians,
18. and after milcom the detestable idol of the ammonites.
19. Solomon did what was evil in the Sight of YHVH,
20. he did not follow YHVH fully as David his father.
21. then Solomon built a high place for chemosh,
22. a detestable idol of moab on the mountain.
23. which is east of Jerusalem for molech,
24. the detestable idol of the sons of ammon.
25. thus he did for all his foreign wives,
26. who burned incense and sacrificed to their creators.
27. YHVH was Angry with Solomon,
28. because his heart had turned away from YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
29. WHO had Appeared to him twice,
30. for HE Commanded him concerning this thing.
31. that he should not go after another creator,
32. but he did not Observe what YHVH Commanded.
33. so YHVH Said Solomon,
34. because you have done this.
35. you have not kept MY Covenant and MY Statutes,
36. which I Commanded you.
37. I will surely tear the kingdom from you,
38. I will Give this to your servant.
39. nevertheless I will not do this in your days,
40. for the sake of your father David.
41. I will tear this out of the hand of your son,
42. however I will not tear away all the kingdom.
43. I will Give 1 tribe to your son,
44. for the sake of MY Servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem 
    which I have Chosen.
Chapter 7	( part 1 )	11:14
1. YHVH raised up an adversary to Solomon,
2. hadad the edomite he was of the royal line for edom.
3. came as David was in edom,
4. and Joab the commander of the army had gone up to bury the slain.
5. he struck down every male in edom,
6. {( for Joab and all Israel stayed there 6 months, until he had cut 
   off every male in edom )}
7. then hadad fled to egypt.
8. he and certain edomites of his father's servants with him,
9. while hadad was a young boy.
10. they arose from midian,
11. came to Paran and took men with them.
12. from Paran they came to egypt,
13. to pharaoh king of egypt who gave him a house.
14. assigned him food and gave him land,
15. now hadad found great favor before pharaoh.
16. he gave to him for marriage the sister of his own wife,
17. the sister of tahpenes the queen.
18. the sister of tahpenes bore his son genubath,
19. whom tahpenes weaned in pharaoh's house.
20. genubath was in pharaoh's house,
21. among the sons of pharaoh.
22. hadad heard in egypt David slept with his fathers,
23. and Joab the commander of the army was dead.
24. hadad said to pharaoh,
25. send me away that i may go to my own country.
26. pharaoh said what have you lacked with me?
27. behold you are seeking to go to your own country.
28. he answered nothing,
29. nevertheless you must surely let me go.
Chapter 7	( part 2 )	11:23
1. the CREATOR also raised up an adversary to him,
2. rezon the son of eliada.
3. who had fled from his lord,
4. hadadezer king of zobah.
5. he gathered men to himself,
6. becoming a leader of a marauding band.
7. after David slew them they went to damascus,
8. staying there he reigned from damascus.
9. so he was an adversary to Israel,
10. all the days of Solomon.
11. along with the evil hadad did,
12. as he abhorred Israel reigned over aram.
13. jeroboam the son of nebat an ephraimite,
14. with zeredah Solomon's servant.
15. whose mother's name was zeruah a widow,
16. also rebelled against the king.
17. this was the reason,
18. why he rebelled against the king.
19. Solomon built the millo,
20. and closed up the breach of the City of his father David.
21. the male jeroboam was a valiant warrior,
22. Solomon saw the young male was industrious.
23. so he appointed him over all the force of labor,
24. for the house of Joseph.
25. came at that time,
26. when jeroboam went out of Jerusalem.
27. the Prophet Ahijah the Shilonite,
28. found him on the road.
29. Ahijah had clothed and himself with a new cloak,
30. for both of them were alone in the field.
31. Ahijah took hold of the new cloak which was on him,
32. tore into 12 pieces.
33. he said jeroboam take for yourself 10 pieces,
34. for thus Says YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
35. behold I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon,
36. Giving you 10 tribes ...
37. {( but he will have one tribe for the sake of MY servant David and 
    for the sake of Jerusalem,
38. the City which I have Chosen from all the tribes of Israel )}
39. ... because they have forsaken ME.
40. [[ they have worshiped ashtoreth,
41. the goddess for the sidonians.
42. and chemosh the creator for moab,
43. and the milcom the creator for the sons of ammon. ]
44. they have not walked in MY Ways,
45. by doing what is right in MY Sight.
46. MY Statutes and MY Ordinances as your father David,
47. nevertheless I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand.
48. I will Make him ruler all the days of his life,
49. for the sake of MY Servant David whom I Chose.
50. who observed MY Commandments and MY Statutes,
51. so I will take the kingdom from his son's hand as I Give to you 10 tribes.
52. to his son I will Give 1 tribe,
53. that MY Servant David may have a lamp.
54. always before ME in Jerusalem,
55. the City where I have Chosen for MYSELF to put MY Name.
56. I will take you and you shall reign over whatever you desire,
57. for you shall be king over Israel if you listen to all I Command you.
58. Walk in MY Ways to do what is right in MY Sight,
59. Observe MY Statutes and MY Commandments as MY Servant David did.
60. I will be with you to build you an enduring house,
61. as I built for David I will Give Israel to you.
62. thus I will afflict the descendants of David,
63. for this but not always.
Chapter 8	( part 1 )	11:40
1. Solomon sought to put jeroboam to death,
2. jeroboam arose fleeing to egypt.
3. to shishak king of egypt,
4. he was in egypt until the death of Solomon.
5. the rest of the acts of Solomon,
6. of whatever he did and his wisdom.
7. are they not written in the Book,
8. the Acts of Solomon.
9. the time Solomon reigned in Jerusalem,
10. over all Israel was 40 years.
11. Solomon slept with his fathers,
12. was buried in the City with his father David.
13. his son Rehoboam reigned in his place,
14. then Rehoboam went to Shechem.
15. for all Israel had come to Shechem,
16. to make him king.
17. came as jeroboam the son of nebat heard,
18. {( he was living in egypt for he was yet in egypt 
19. where he had fled from the presence of king Solomon )}
20. they sent and called jeroboam.
21. for all the assembly of Israel came,
22. they spoke to Rehoboam saying.
23. your father made our yoke hard,
24. now lighten the hard service of your father.
25. his heavy yoke,
26. which he put on us and we will serve you.
27. he said depart for 3 days then return to me,
28. the people departed.
29. king Rehoboam consulted with the Elders,
30. who had served his father Solomon alive.
31. saying how do you counsel me?
32. to answer this people?
33. they spoke saying if you will be a servant to this people today,
34. serve them and grant them their petition.
35. speak good words to them,
36. then they will be your servants forever.
37. he forsook the counsel of the Elders,
38. which they had given him.
39. he consulted with the young men,
40. who grew up with him and served him.
41. so he said what counsel do you give?
42. that i may answer this people?
43. who have spoken to me,
44. saying lighten the yoke which your father put on us?
45. the young men who grew up with him spoke to him,
46. saying thus you shall say to this people.
47. who spoke to you saying,
48. your father made our yoke heavy.
49. now you make this lighter for us,
50. but you shall speak to them my little finger is thicker than my fathers loins.
51. whereas my father loaded you with a heavy yoke,
52. i will add to your yoke.
53. my father disciplined you with whips,
54. i will discipline you with scorpions.
55. jeroboam and all the people came,
56. to Rehoboam on the 3rd day.
57. as the king had directed,
58. saying return to me on the 3rd day.
59. the king answered the people harshly,
60. he forsook the advice of the Elders which they had given him.
61. he spoke to them according to the advice of the young men,
62. saying my father made your yoke heavy and i will add to your yoke.
63. my father disciplined you with whips,
64. but i will discipline you with scorpions.
65. so the king did not listen to the people,
66. for this was a turn of events from YHVH.
67. that HE might Establish HIS Word,
68. which YHVH Spoke.
69. through Ahijah the Shilonite,
70. to jeroboam the son of nebat.
71. all Israel saw the king did not listen to them,
72. the people answered the king.
73. saying what portion do we have in David?
74. we have no Inheritance in the son of Jesse.
75. to your tents Israel,
76. now look to your own house David.
77. Israel departed to their tents,
78. the sons of Israel lived in the cities of Judah.
79. Rehoboam reigned over them.
80. king Rehoboam sent Adoram,
81. who was over the forced labor,
82. all Israel stoned him to death.
83. king Rehoboam made haste to mount his chariot,
84. to flee to Jerusalem.
85. Israel has been in rebellion,
86. against the house of David to this day.
87. came as all Israel heard,
88. that jeroboam had returned.
89. they sent and called him to the assembly,
90. they made him king over all Israel.
91. none from the tribe of Judah,
92. followed the house of David.
93. Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem,
94. he assembled all the house of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin.
95.  180,000 chosen men,
96. who were warriors to fight against the house of Israel.
97. to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam,
98. the son of Solomon.
99. the Word of the CREATOR came to Shemaiah,
100. a Male for the CREATOR.
101. Saying speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon king of Judah,
102. to all the house of Judah  Benjamin and to the rest of the people.
103. say thus Says YHVH,
104. you must not go up and fight against your relatives the sons of Israel.
105. return every male to his house,
106. for this thing has come from ME.
107. so they listened to the Word from YHVH and returned,
108. they went their way according to the Word from YHVH.
109. jeroboam built shechem in the hill country of Ephraim to live there,
110. he went out from there and built penuel.
Chapter 8	( part 2 )	12:26
1. jeroboam said in his heart,
2. now the kingdom will return to the house of David.
3. if this people goes up to Offer Sacrifices,
4. at the House for YHVH in Jerusalem.
5. then the heart of this people will return,
6. to their lord Rehoboam king of Judah.
7. they will kill me and return to Rehoboam,
8. the king of Judah.
9. the king consulted and made 2 golden calves,
10. he said this is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem.
11. behold your creator Israel that brought you up from the land of egypt,
12. he set 1 in bethel and the other he put in dan.
13. now this thing became a sin for the people,
14. not going to worship before the 1.
15. as far as dan he made houses on the high places,
16. made priests from among all the people who were not from the sons of Levi.
17. jeroboam instituted a feast in the 8th month,
18. on the 15th day of the month.
19. like the Feast which is in Judah,
20. he went up to the altar.
21. thus he did in bethel,
22. sacrificing to the calves which he had made.
23. he stationed them in bethel,
24. with the priests for the high places which he had made.
25. he went up to the altar,
26. which he had made in bethel.
27. on the 15th day in the 8th month,
28. in the month which he had devised in his own heart.
29. he instituted a feast for the sons of Israel,
30. he went up to the altar to burn incense.
31. behold came a Male for the CREATOR,
32. from Judah to bethel with the Word from YHVH.
33. while jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense,
34. he cried against the altar by the Word from YHVH,
35. saying altar altar,
36. thus Says YHVH.
37. behold a son shall be born to the house of David,
38. Josiah by name.
39. on you he shall sacrifice the priests on the high places who burn incense on you,
40. for human bones shall be burned on you.
41. he gave a Sign the same day,
42. saying this is the Sign which means YHVH has Spoken.
43. behold the altar shall be split apart,
44. the ashes which are on this shall be poured out.
45. came as the king heard the saying of the Male for the CREATOR,
46. which he cried against the altar in bethel.
47. jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar,
48. saying seize him.
49. his hand which he stretched out against him dried up,
50. he could not draw back to himself.
51. the altar also was split apart,
52. ashes were poured out from the altar according to the Sign.
53. which the Male for the CREATOR had given by the Word from YHVH,
54. the king answered saying to the Male for the CREATOR.
55. please entreat YHVH your CREATOR,
56. pray for me that my hand may be restored to me.
57. the Male for the CREATOR entreated YHVH,
58. the king's hand was restored becoming as before.
59. the king said to the Male for the CREATOR come home with me,
60. refresh yourself and i will give you a reward.
61. the Male for the CREATOR said king,
62. if you were to give me half your house i would not go with you.
63. nor would i eat bread,
64. or drink water in this place.
65. this was Commanded me by the Word from YHVH,
66. Saying you shall eat no bread nor drink water.
67. nor return by the way which you came,
68. he went another way not to return by the way which he came to bethel.
Chapter 8	( part 3 )	13:11
1. an old prophet was living in bethel,
2. his sons came and told him all the deeds.
3. which the Male for the CREATOR had Done,
4. that day in bethel.
5. the words which he had spoken to the king,
6. these also they related to their father.
7. their father said to them,
8. which way did he go?
9. for his sons seen the way,
10. which the Male for the CREATOR who came from Judah had gone.
11. he said to his sons saddle a donkey for me,
12. they saddled a donkey for him and he rode away.
13. he went after the Male for the CREATOR,
14. found him sitting under an oak.
15. he said are you the Male for the CREATOR,
16. who came from Judah?
17. saying i am  he said come home with me and eat bread,
18. he said i cannot return with you nor go with you.
19. nor will i eat bread or drink water with you in this place,
20. as Commanded by the Word from YHVH.
21. you shall eat no bread nor drink water there,
22. do not return by going the way which you came.
23. he said i also am a prophet like you,
24. an angel spoke to me the word from YHVH.
25. saying bring him back with you to your house,
26. that he may eat bread and drink water.
27. he lied to him so he went back with him,
28. to ate bread in his house and drank water.
29. came as they were sitting down at the table,
30. the Word from YHVH came to the prophet who had brought him back.
31. he cried to the Male for the CREATOR who came from Judah,
32. saying thus Says YHVH.
33. because you have disobeyed the Command from YHVH,
34. you have not observed the Commandment which YHVH your CREATOR Commanded you.
35. you returned and have eaten bread,
36. drank water in the place.
37. of which I Said to you eat no bread and drink no water,
38. your body shall not come to the grave of your fathers'.
39. came after he had eaten bread and after he had drank,
40. he saddled the donkey for the Prophet whom he had brought back.
41. going out a lion met him on the way and killed him,
42. his body was thrown on the road.
43. the donkey was standing beside,
44. the lion was standing beside the body.
45. behold men passed by,
46. saw the body thrown on the road with a lion standing beside the body.
47. they came and told this in the city where the old prophet lived,
48. the prophet who brought him back from the way.
49. hearing this he said this is the Male for the CREATOR,
50. who disobeyed the Command from YHVH.
51. YHVH has Given him to the lion which has torn him,
52. killed him according to the Word from YHVH which HE Spoke to him.
53. he spoke to his sons saying saddle the donkey for me,
54. they saddled this and he went.
55. he found his body thrown on the road,
56. with the donkey and the lion standing beside the body.
57. for the lion had not eaten the body,
58. nor torn the donkey.
59. the prophet took up the body of the Male for the CREATOR,
60. laid him on the donkey and brought him back.
61. he came to the city of the old prophet,
62. he mourned and buried him.
63. he laid his body in his own grave,
64. he mourned over him saying alas my brother.
65. came after he had buried him,
66. he spoke to his sons saying.
67. when i die bury me by the grave in which the Male for the CREATOR is buried,
68. lay my bones beside his bones.
69. for the thing shall surely come to pass,
70. which he cried by the Word from YHVH.
71. against the altar in bethel,
72. against all the houses for the high places which are in the cities by samaria.
73. after this event,
74. jeroboam did not return from his evil way.
75. again he made priests for the high places,
76. from among all the people.
77. any who would he ordained to be priests for the high places.
78. this event became sin to the house of jeroboam,
79. even to blot out and destroy,
80. destroying them from off the face of the earth.
Chapter 9	( part 1 )	14:1
1. at that time Abijah the son of jeroboam became sick,
2. jeroboam said to his wife arise.
3. now disguise yourself,
4. that they may not know you are the wife of jeroboam.
5. go to shiloh,
6. behold Ahijah the Prophet is there.
7. who spoke concerning me,
8. i would be king over this people.
9. take 10 loaves  cakes  a jar of honey and go to him,
10. he will tell you what will happen to the boy.
11. jeroboam's wife did so,
12. arose and went to shiloh.
13. came to the house of Ahijah,
14. Ahijah could not see for his eyes were dim because of his age.
15. YHVH had Said Ahijah behold,
16. the wife of jeroboam is coming to inquire from you concerning her 
    son for he is sick.
17. you shall say thus and thus to her,
18. as she arrives she will pretend to be another woman.
19. came as Ahijah heard the sound of her feet coming to the doorway,
20. he said come in wife of jeroboam.
21. why do you pretend to be another woman?
22. for i am sending you with a harshness.
23. go say to jeroboam,
24. thus Says YHVH the CREATOR of Israel.
25. because I Exalted you from among the people,
26. Made you leader over MY People Israel.
27. I tore the kingdom away,
28. the house of David I Gave to you.
29. yet you have not been like MY Servant David.
30. who kept MY Commandments.
31. who followed ME with all his heart,
32. to do only which was right in MY Sight.
33. you have done more evil,
34. than all who were before you.
35. you have gone and made for yourself another creator,
36. a molten image to provoke ME to Anger.
37. you have cast ME behind your back,
38. therefore behold I AM bringing calamity on the house of jeroboam.
39. cutting off from jeroboam every male person,
40. both bond and free in Israel.
41. I will Make a clean sweep of the house of jeroboam,
42. as one sweeps away dung until all is gone.
43. anyone belonging to jeroboam who dies in the city the dogs will eat,
44. he who dies in the field the birds of the heavens will eat.
45. YHVH has Spoken,
46. arise go to your house.
47. as your feet enter the city the child will die,
48. all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him.
49. he alone of jeroboam's shall come to the grave,
50. because in him something good was found toward YHVH the CREATOR of 
    Israel in the house of jeroboam.
51. YHVH will raise up for himself a king over Israel,
52. who shall cut off the house of jeroboam.
53. this day and from now on YHVH will strike Israel as a reed is 
    shaken by the waters,
54. HE will uproot Israel from this Good Land.
55. which HE Gave to their fathers,
56. HE will scatter them beyond the river.
57. because they have made an asherim,
58. provoking YHVH to Anger.
59. HE will give up Israel on account of the sins of jeroboam,
60. which he committed and which he made Israel to sin.
61. jeroboam's wife arose and departed,
62. came to tirzah.
63. as she was entering the threshold of the house,
64. the child died.
65. all Israel buried him and mourned for him,
66. according to the Word from YHVH.
67. which HE Spoke through HIS Servant,
68. Ahijah the Prophet.

1. Elijah the Tishbite who was of the settlers of gilead said to ahab,
2. as YHVH the CREATOR of Israel Lives.
3. before WHOM i stand,
4. surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years except by my word.
5. the Word from YHVH came to him Saying go away from here,
6. turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook cherith.

8. I have Commanded the ravens to provide for you there.

26. only a handful of flour in a bowl and a little oil in a jar.
27. behold i am gathering a few sticks that i may go in and prepare for me and my son,
28. that we may eat and die.
29. Elijah said do not fear,
30. go do as you have said.
31. but make me a little bread cake 1st and bring out to me.
32. afterward make for yourself and for your son.
33. thus Says YHVH the CREATOR of Israel,
34. the bowl of flour shall not be exhausted.
35. nor shall the jar of oil be empty,
36. until the day YHVH sends rain on the face of the earth.
37. she went and did by the Word thru Elijah,
38. she and he and her household ate for days.
39. the bowl of flour was not exhausted nor did the jar of oil become empty,
40. according to the Word from YHVH which HE Spoke through Elijah.
Chapter 10	( part 2 )	17:17
41. came after these things,
42. the son of the woman mistress of the house became sick.
43. his sickness was so severe,
44. there was no breath left in him.
45. she said Elijah,
46. what do i have to do with you Male for the CREATOR?
47. have you come to me to bring up my iniquity?
48. my remembering has put my son to death.
49. he said give me your son,
50. he took him from her bosom.
51. carried him up to the upper room where he was living,
52. laid him on his own bed.
53. he called to YHVH,
54. saying YHVH my CREATOR.
55. have YOU also brought calamity to the widow with whom i am staying?

Chapter 10	( part 3 )	18:1
69. came after many days,
70. the Word from YHVH came to Elijah in the 3rd year.
71. Saying go show yourself to ahab,
72. I will send rain on the face of the earth.
73. Elijah went to show himself to ahab,
74. now the famine was severe in samaria.
75. ahab had called Obadiah who was over the household,
76. [( now Obadiah feared YHVH greatly. )]
77. came as jezebel destroyed the Prophets from YHVH,
78. that Obadiah took a 100 Prophets.
79. hid them by 50's in a cave,
80. provided them with bread and water.
81. ahab said to Obadiah go in the Land,
82. to all the springs of water in all the valleys.
83. perhaps we will find grass and keep the horses and mules alive,
84. and not have to kill some of the cattle.
85. they divided the Land to survey,
86. ahab went one way by himself and Obadiah went another way by himself.
87. as Obadiah was on the way,
88. behold Elijah met him.
89. as he recognized him he fell on his face,
90. said is this you Elijah my master?
91. he said to him this is i,

94. that you are giving your servant into the hand of ahab to put me to death?
95. as YHVH your CREATOR Lives,
96. there is no nation or kingdom where my master has not sent to search for you.
97. as they said he is not here,
98. he made the kingdom or nation swear that they could not find you.
99. now you are saying go,
100. say to your master behold Elijah.
101. come as i leave you,
102. a SPIRIT from YHVH will carry you where i do not know.
103. as i come and tell ahab and he cannot find you he will kill me,
104. although i your servant have feared YHVH from my youth.
105. has this not been told to my master?
106. what i did as jezebel killed the Prophets from YHVH?
107. i hid a 100 Prophets from YHVH by 50's in caves,
108. provided them with bread and water.
109. now you are saying go say to your master behold Elijah,
110. he will then kill me.
111. Elijah said as YHVH of Hosts Lives before WHOM i stand,
112. i will surely show myself to him today.
113. Obadiah went to meet ahab and told him,
114. ahab went to meet Elijah.
115. came as ahab saw Elijah,
116. ahab said is this you you troubler of Israel?
117. he said i have not troubled Israel,
118. but you and your father's house.
119. because you have forsaken the Commandments from YHVH,
120. you have followed the baals.
121. now send and gather to me all Israel at mount carmel,
122. with 450 prophets for baal {{ and 400 prophets for asherah} 
     who eat at jezebel's table.
123. ahab sent a message among all the sons of Israel,
124. they brought the prophets together at mount carmel.
125. Elijah came near to all the people,
126. said how long will you hesitate between 2 opinions? 
127. if YHVH is the CREATOR follow HIM but if baal follow him,
128. but the people did not answer him a word.
129. Elijah said to the people i alone am left as a Prophet from YHVH,
130. but baal's prophets are 450 men.
131. now let them give us 2 oxen,
132. let them choose 1 ox for themselves.
133. cut this up and place on the wood,
134. put no fire under.
135. i will prepare the other ox and lay on the wood,
136. i will not put a fire under.
137. you call on the name of your creator and i will call on the Name YHVH,
138. the creator who answers by fire is the CREATOR,
139. all the people answered,
140. saying that is a good idea.
141. Elijah said to the prophets for baal,
142. choose 1 ox for yourselves and prepare 1st.
143. for you are many to call on the name of your creator,
144. but put no fire under.
145. then they took the ox which was given and prepared,
146. they called on the name for baal from morning until noon.
147. saying baal answer us and there was no voice,
148. no one answered as they leaped about the altar which they made.
149. came noon Elijah mocked them,
150. saying call out with a loud voice for is he your creator?
151. either he is occupied or gone aside or is on a journey,
152. or perhaps he is asleep and needs to be awakened.
153. so they cried with a loud voice,
154. they cut themselves according to their custom.
155. with swords and lances,
156. until the blood gushed out of them.
157. came as midday was pasted,
158. they raved until the time of the Offering of the Evening Sacrifice.
159. but there was no voice and no one answered,
160. no one paid attention.
161. Elijah said to all the people come near to me,
162. so all the people came near to him.
163. he repaired the Altar for YHVH,
164. which had been torn down.
165. Elijah took 12 stones,
166. according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob.
167. to whom the Word from YHVH came,
168. saying Israel shall be your name.
169. with the stones he built an Altar,
170. for the Name YHVH.
171. he made a trench around the Altar,
172. large enough to hold 2 measures of seed.
173. he arranged the wood,
174. cut the ox in pieces and laid on the wood.
175. he said fill 4 pitchers with water,
176. pour them on the Burnt Offering and on the wood.
177. he said do a 2nd time and they did a 2nd time,
178. he said do a 3rd time and they did a 3rd time.
179. the water flowed around the Altar,
180. he also filled the trench with water.
181. came at the time of the Offering for the Evening Sacrifice,
182. Elijah the Prophet came near.
183. said YHVH  CREATOR of Abraham  Isaac and Israel.
184. today let this be known YOU are the CREATOR in Israel and that i am YOUR Servant.
185. that i have done all these things by YOUR Word,
186. answer me YHVH.
187. answer me that this people may know,
188. that YOU YHVH are the CREATOR turning their hearts back again.
189. fire from YHVH fell,
190. consumed the Burnt Offering.
191. the wood the stones the dust,
192. and licked up the water in the trench.
193. when all the people saw,
194. they fell on their faces,
195. they said YHVH HE is CREATOR,
196. YHVH HE is CREATOR.
197. Elijah said seize the prophets for baal,
198. do not let one of them escape.
199. so they seized them and Elijah brought them down to the brook kishon,
200. they slew them there.
201. Elijah said ahab go up eat and drink,
202. for there will be a sound of the roar of a shower.
203. ahab went up to eat and drink,
204. Elijah went up to the top of carmel.
205. he crouched down on the earth putting his face between his knees,

210. a cloud as small as a male's hand is coming up from the sea.

217. the Hand of YHVH was on Elijah,
218. he girded up his loins and outran ahab to jezreel.
219. ahab told jezebel all Elijah had done,
220. how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
221. jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah,
222. saying so may the CREATOR do to me and even more.
223. if i do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow this time,
224. he was afraid and arose.
225. ran for his life coming to beersheba,
226. which belongs to Judah.
227. he left his servant there as he himself went a days journey into the wilderness,
228. came as he sat down under a juniper tree.
229. he requested for himself that he might die,

231. for i am not better than my fathers,
232. he lay down and slept under a juniper tree.
233. behold there was an Angel touching him,

238. an Angel from YHVH came again a 2nd time.
239. touched him saying arise eat,
240. because the journey is too great for you.

244. to Horeb the Mountain of the CREATOR.

246. lodged there.

249. he said i have been very zealous for YHVH the CREATOR of Hosts,
250. for the sons of Israel have forsaken YOUR Covenant.
251. they have torn down YOUR Altars and killed YOUR Prophets with the sword,

254. stand on the Mountain before YHVH.

256. a great and strong wind was rending the Mountain.

268. behold a Voice Saying what are you doing here Elijah?
269. he said i have been very zealous for YHVH the CREATOR of Hosts,

272. i alone am left and they seek my life to take away.

274. return on your way to the wilderness of damascus.

276. you shall Anoint Hazael king over aram.

2. there were 32 kings with him with horses and chariots.
3. he went up and besieged samaria to fight against,
4. he sent messengers to the city to ahab king of Israel.
5. saying thus says ben-hada your silver and your gold are mine.
6. your most beautiful wives and children are also mine.
7. the king of Israel answered,
8. said according to your word my lord and king has everything.
9. the messengers returned saying,
10. thus says ben-hadad.
11. surely i sent to you saying,
12. you shall give me your silver  gold  wives and children.
13. this time tomorrow i will send my servants to you,
14. they will search your house and the houses of your servants.
15. come about whatever is desirable in their eyes,
16. they will take in their hand and carry away.
17. the king of Israel called all the Elders of the Land,
18. said please observe.
19. see how this male is looking for trouble,
20. he sent for my wives  children  silver  gold and i did not refuse him.
21. all the Elders and all the people said to him,
22. do not listen or consent.
23. he said to the messengers of ben-hadad,
24. tell my lord and king all that you sent for to your servant 
    at the 1st i will do.
25. as this other thing i cannot do,
26. the messengers departed and brought him word again.
27. ben-hadad sent to him saying,
28. may the CREATOR do so to me and more also.
29. if the dust of samaria is to satisfy,
30. the hands of all the people who follow me.
31. in the king of Israel answered saying,
32. tell him let not him who girds on boast like him who takes off.
33. came as he heard this message,
34. he was drinking with the kings in temporary shelters.
35. he said to his servants station yourselves,
36. they stationed themselves against the city.
37. behold a Prophet approached ahab king of Israel,
38. said thus Says YHVH.
39. you seen all this great multitude,
40. behold I will Deliver them into your hand today to know I AM YHVH.
41. ahab said by whom,
42. he said thus Says YHVH.
43. by the young men of the rulers of the provinces,
44. he said who shall begin the battle and he answered you.
45. he mustered the young men of the rulers of the provinces,
46. there were 232.
47. after them he mustered all the people,
48. all the sons of Israel 7,000.
49. they went out at noon,
50. ben-hadad was drinking himself drunk in temporary shelters.
51. with 32 kings who helped him,
52. as the young men of the rulers of the provinces went out 1st.
53. ben-hadad sent out for they had told him,
54. saying men have come out from samaria.
55. he said if they have come out for peace take them alive,
56. or if they have come out for war take them alive.
57. these went out from the city,
58. the young men of the rulers of the provinces and the army which followed them.
59. they killed each his male,
60. the arameans fled.
61. Israel pursued them,
62. ben-hadad king of aram escaped on a horse with horsemen.
63. the king of Israel went out and struck the horses and chariots,
64. killed the arameans with a great slaughter.
65. the Prophet came near to the king of Israel,
66. said go strengthen yourself and observe.
67. see what you have to do by the turn of the year,
68. for the king of aram will come up against you.
69. the servants of the king of aram said their CREATOR is the 
    CREATOR of the mountains,
70. therefore they were stronger than we.
71. rather let us fight against them in the plain,
72. surely we will be stronger than they.
73. do this thing,
74. remove the kings each from his place and put captains in their place.
75. muster an army like the army that you have lost,
76. horse for horse and chariot for chariot.
77. we will fight against them in the plain,
78. surely we shall be stronger than they.
79. he listened to their voice,
80. he did so.
81. came at the turn of the year,
82. ben-hadad mustered the arameans.
83. went up to aphek to fight against Israel,
84. the sons of Israel were mustered.
85. sustained they went to meet them.
86. the sons of Israel camped before them.
87. like 2 little flocks of goats,
88. the arameans filled the country.
89. a Male for the CREATOR came near,
90. spoke to the king of Israel.
91. saying thus Says YHVH,
92. because the arameans have said.
93. YHVH is a CREATOR of the mountains,
94. but HE is not the CREATOR of the valleys.
95. I will Give all this great multitude into your hand,
96. you shall know I AM YHVH.
97. so they camped one over against the other for 7 days,
98. came on the 7th day the battle was joined.
99. the sons of Israel killed the arameans,
100. 100,000 foot soldiers in 1 day,
101. the rest fled to aphek into the city,
102. the wall fell on 27,000 men who were left.
103. ben-hadad fled,
104. he came into the city into an inner chamber.
105. his servants said behold now,
106. we have heard the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings.
107. please let us put sackcloth on our loins and ropes on our heads,
108. go out to the king of Israel perhaps he will save your life.
109. so they girded sackcloth on their loins and put ropes on their heads,
110. they came to the king of Israel.
111. said your servant ben-hadad says please let me live,
112. he said is he still alive he is my brother.
113. the men took this as an omen,
114. quickly catching his word.
115. said your brother ben-hadad,
116. he said go bring him.
117. ben-hadad came out to him,
118. he took him up into the chariot.
119. he said to him of the cities,
120. which my father took from your father i will restore.
121. you shall make streets for yourself in damascus,
122. as my father made in samaria.
123. he said i will let you go with this covenant,
124. he made a covenant with him and let him go.
125. a certain male from the sons of the Prophets,
126. said to another.
127. by the Word from YHVH please strike me,
128. the male refused to strike him.
129. he said because you have not listened to the Voice of YHVH,
130. behold as you departed from me a lion will kill you.
131. as soon as he had departed from him,
132. a lion found him and killed him.
133. he found another male and said please strike me,
134. the male struck him wounding him.
135. the Prophet departed and waited for the king by the way,
136. disguising himself with a bandage over his eyes.
137. as the king passed by he cried to the king,
138. saying your servant went out into the midst of the battle.
139. behold a male turned aside,
140. brought a male to me.
141. he said guard this male,
142. if for any reason he is missing.
143. your life shall be for his life,
144. or else you shall pay a talent of silver.
145. while your servant was busy here and there he was gone,
146. the king of Israel said so your judgment is of yourself by deciding this.
147. he hastily took the bandage away from his eyes,
148. the king of Israel recognized him that he was of the Prophets.
149. he said thus Says YHVH because you have let go out from your hand,
150. the male whom I had devoted to destruction.
151. your life shall go for his life,
152. your people for his people.
153. so the king of Israel went to his house,
154. sullen and vexed as he came to samaria. ]
Chapter 11	( part 2 )	21:1
155. came after these things,
156. Naboth the jezreelite had a vineyard.
157. which was in jezreel,
158. beside the palace of ahab king of samaria.
159. ahab spoke to Naboth saying,
160. give me your vineyard that i may have a vegetable garden.
161. because this is close beside my house,
162. i will give you a better vineyard than in this place.
163. if you like i will give you the price in money.
164. but Naboth said ahab.
165. YHVH Forbids me,
166. that i should give you the Inheritance of my fathers.
167. ahab came into his house,
168. sullen and vexed.
169. because of the word which Naboth the jezreelite had spoken to him.
170. for he said i will not give you the Inheritance of my fathers.
171. he lay down on his bed,
172. turning away his face and he ate no food.
173. jezebel his wife came to him saying,
174. how is this that your spirit is so sullen that you are not eating food?
175. he said because i spoke to Naboth the jezreelite,
176. i said give me your vineyard for money.
177. or else if this pleases you i will give you a vineyard in place of yours,
178. he said i will not give you my vineyard.
179. jezebel his wife said do you now reign over Israel,
180. arise eat bread.
181. let your heart be joyful,
182. i will give you the vineyard of Naboth the jezreelite.
183. she wrote letters in ahab's name,
184. sealed them with his seal.
185. sent letters to the elders and to the nobles,
186. who were living with Naboth in his city.
187. she wrote in the letters saying proclaim a fast,
188. seat Naboth at the head of the people.
189. seat 2 worthless men before him to testify,
190. to say you cursed the CREATOR and king.
191. take him out and stone him to death,
192. with the men from his city and the elders and nobles.
193. who lived in his city did as jezebel had sent word to them,
194. just as written in the letters which she had sent them.
195. they proclaimed a fast,
196. seated Naboth at the head of the people.
197. the 2 worthless men came in and sat before him.
198. the worthless men testified against him.
199. against Naboth before the people,
200. saying Naboth cursed the CREATOR and king.
201. they took him outside the city,
202. stoned him to death with stones.
203. they sent to jezebel saying,
204. Naboth has been stoned and is dead.
205. came as jezebel heard,
206. Naboth had been stoned and was dead.
207. jezebel said ahab arise,
208. take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the jezreelite.
209. which he refused to give you for money,
210. for Naboth is not alive but dead.
211. came as ahab heard,
212. that Naboth was dead.
213. ahab arose,
214. went down to the vineyard of Naboth the jezreelite to take possession.
215. the Word from YHVH came to Elijah the tishbite,
216. Saying arise.
217. go down to meet ahab king of Israel,
218. who is in samaria.
219. behold he is in the vineyard of Naboth,
220. where he has gone down to take possession.
221. you shall speak to him saying thus Says YHVH,
222. you have murdered and also taken possession.
223. you shall speak to him saying,
224. thus Says YHVH.
225. in the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth,
226. the dogs shall lick up your blood even yours.
227. ahab said Elijah have you found me my enemy?
228. he answered i have found you because you have sold yourself to 
     do evil in the Sight of YHVH.
229. behold HE will Bring evil upon you and utterly sweep you away,
230. HE will cut off from ahab every male both bond and free in Israel.
231. HE will make your house like the house of jeroboam the son of nebat,
232. like the house of baasha the son of ahijah.
233. because of the provocations which you have provoked HIM to Anger,
234. for Israel sins.
235. of jezebel also YHVH Spoke,
236. Saying the dogs shall eat jezebel in the district of jezreel.
237. the one belonging to ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat,
238. the one who dies in the field the birds of heaven shall eat.
239.          {{ surely no one is like ahab,
240.          who sold himself to do evil in the Sight of YHVH,
241.          because jezebel his wife incited him.
242.          he acted very abominably in following idols,
243.          according to all that the amorites had done,
244.          whom YHVH cast out before the sons of Israel}
245. came as ahab heard these words,
246. he tore his clothes.
247. he put on sackcloth and fasted,
248. laid in sackcloth and went about gently.
249. the Word from YHVH came to Elijah the Tishbite,
250. Saying do you see how ahab has humbled himself before ME? 
251. because he has humbled himself before ME I will not bring the evil in his days,
252. I will bring the evil upon his house in his son's days.
Chapter 12	22:1
1.  3 years passed,
2. without war between aram and Israel.
3. came in the 3rd year,
4. Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
5. the king of Israel said to his servants,
6. do you know ramoth-gilead belongs to us?
7. we are still doing nothing,
8. to take this out of the hand of the king of aram?
9. he said to Jehoshaphat,
10. will you go to battle at ramoth-gilead.
11. Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel,
12. i am as you are  my people as your people and my horses as your horses.
13. Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel,
14. please inquire 1st for the Words from YHVH.
15. the king of Israel gathered the prophets together,
16.  400 men.
17. said shall i go against ramoth-gilead to battle?
18. or shall i refrain? 
19. they said go,
20. the LORD will give this into the hand of the king.
21. Jehoshaphat said is there not yet a Prophet from YHVH,
22. here that we may inquire from him?
23. the king of Israel said Jehoshaphat there is 1 male to inquire from YHVH,
24. i hate him because he does not prophesy good concerning me.
25. evil Micaiah son of Imlah,
26. Jehoshaphat said let not the king say so.
27. the king of Israel called an officer,
28. said bring quickly Micaiah son of Imlah.
29. the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting each on his throne,
30. arrayed in their robes by the threshing floor.
31. by the entrance of the gate of samaria,
32. all the prophets were prophesying before them.
33. zedekiah the son of chenaanah made horns of iron for himself,
34. said thus Says YHVH with these you shall gore the arameans until they are consumed.
35. all the prophets were prophesying thus saying go up to ramoth-gilead,
36. prosper for YHVH will give this into the hand of the king.
37. the messenger who went to summon Micaiah,
38. spoke to him saying behold.
39. now the words of the prophets are like another,
40. their mouths are favorable to the king.
41. please let your word be like the word of one of them,
42. speak favorably.
43. Micaiah said as YHVH Lives,
44. what YHVH Says to me i will speak.
45. he came to the king,
46. the king said to Micaiah.
47. shall we go to ramoth-gilead to battle?
48. or shall we refrain?
49. he answered him go up and succeed,
50. YHVH will give this into the hand of the king.
51. the king said how many times must i adjure you?
52. speak to me nothing but the truth by the Name YHVH.
53. he said i saw all Israel scattered on the mountains,
54. like sheep which have no shepherd.
55. YHVH Said these have no master,
56. let each of them return to his house in peace.
57. then the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,
58. did i not tell you he would not prophesy good concerning me but evil?
59. Micaiah said therefore,
60. hear the Word from YHVH.
61. i saw YHVH Sitting on HIS Throne,
62. all the host of Heaven standing by HIM on HIS Right and on HIS Left.
63. YHVH Said who will entice ahab?
64. to go up and fall at ramoth-gilead.
65. one said this while another said that.
66. then a Spirit came forward and stood before YHVH.
67. said i will entice him,
68. YHVH Said to him how? 
69. he said i will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his Prophets,
70. then HE Said you are to entice him and also prevail  go and do so.
71. now behold YHVH has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these your Prophets,
72. YHVH has Proclaimed disaster against you.
73. zedekiah the son of chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek,
74. said how did a Spirit from YHVH pass from me to speak to you?
75. Micaiah said behold you shall see on that day,
76. when you enter an inner room to hide yourself.
77. the king of Israel said take Micaiah,
78. return him to Amon the governor of the city.
79. to Joash the king's son say thus says the king put this male in prison,
80. feed him sparingly with bread and water until i return safely.
81. Micaiah said if you indeed return safely YHVH has not Spoken by me,
82. he said listen to me all you people.
83. but the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah went up,
84. against ramoth-gilead.
85. the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,
86. i will disguise myself and go into the battle.
87. but you put on your robes,
88. the king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.
89. the king of aram commanded,
90. the 32 captains by his chariots.
91. saying do not fight with small or great,
92. but with the king of Israel alone.
93. came as the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat,
94. they said surely this is the king of Israel.
95. they turned aside to fight against him,
96. Jehoshaphat cried out.
97. happened as the captains of the chariots saw this was not the king of Israel,
98. they turned back from pursuing him.
99. a certain male drew his bow at random,
100. struck the king of Israel in a joint of the armor.
101. he said to the driver of his chariot turn around,
102. take me out of the fight for i am severely wounded.
103. the battle raged that day,
104. the king was propped up in his chariot in front of the arameans.
105. he died at evening,
106. the blood from the wound ran into the bottom of the chariot.
107. then a cry passed throughout the army close to sunset,
108. saying every male to his city and every male to his country.
109. the king died and was brought to samaria,
110. they buried the king in samaria.
111. they washed the chariot by the pool of samaria
112. as the dogs licked up his blood ....

114. .... according to the Word from YHVH which HE Spoke.
115. now the rest of the acts of ahab,
116. all that he did.
117. the ivory house which he built,
118. and all the cities which he built.

120. in the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
121. so ahab slept with his fathers,
122. ahaziah his son became king in his place.
Chapter 13	22:41
1. Jehoshaphat the son of Asa,
2. became king over Judah.
3. in the 4th year of ahab king of Israel,
4. Jehoshaphat at 35 years old became king.
5. he reigned 25 years in Jerusalem,
6. his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
7. he walked in all the way of Asa his father,
8. he did not turn aside from doing right in the Sight of YHVH.
9. however the high places were not taken away,
10. the people still sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places.
11. Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel. ]
12. now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat,
13. his might which he showed and how he warred.
14. are they not written in the Book?
15. in the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.
16. the remnant of the sodomites,
17. who remained in the days of his father Asa.
18. he expelled them from the Land,
19. there was no king in edom that stood as king.
20. Jehoshaphat made ships in tarshish to go to ophir for gold.
21. they did not go for the ships were broken at ezion-geber.
22. ahaziah the son of ahab said to Jehoshaphat let my servants go 
    with your servants in the ships,
23. Jehoshaphat was not willing.
24. Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers,
25. he was buried with his fathers in the City of his father David.

29. in the 17th year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah,
30. he reigned 2 years over Israel.
31. he did evil in the Sight of YHVH,

33. in the way of jeroboam the son of nebat who caused Israel to sin.
34. he served baal and worshiped him.
35. provoking YHVH the CREATOR of Israel to Anger,
36. according to all that his father had done.
37. moab rebelled against Israel,
38. after the death of ahab.
2 KINGS
Chapter 1
1. ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber.
2. which was in samaria.
3. he became ill.
4. so he sent messengers.
5. saying go inquire of baal-zebub the creator of ekron.
6. whether i shall recover from this sickness?
7. an Angel from YHVH said to Elijah the Tishbite arise,
8. go up to meet the messengers of the king of samaria.
9. say is this because there is no CREATOR in Israel?
10. that you are going to inquire from baal-zebub creator of ekron.
11. therefore thus Says YHVH you shall not come down,
12. the bed where you have gone up you shall surely die.
13. Elijah departed and the messengers returned,
14. he said why have you returned?
15. they said a male came up to meet us.
16. said go return to the king who sent you.
17. say to him thus Says YHVH,
18. this because there is no CREATOR in Israel you are sending to inquire 
    from baal-zebub the creator of ekron?
19. therefore you shall not come down.
20. the bed where you have gone up you shall surely die.
21. he said what kind of male was he who came up?
22. and meet you speaking these words to you?
23. they answered a hairy male with a leather girdle bound about his loins.
24. he said this is Elijah the Tishbite.
25. the king sent a captain of 50 with his 50.
26. he went up to him for behold he was sitting on the top of the hill.
27. he said Male for the CREATOR the king says come down.
28. Elijah answered saying to the captain of 50.
29. if i am a Male for the CREATOR.
30. let fire come down from heaven to consume you and your 50.
31. fire came down from heaven.
32. consumed him and his 50.
33. the king again sent to him.
34. another captain of 50 with his 50.
35. he spoke saying Male for the CREATOR.
36. thus says the king come down quickly.
37. Elijah answered saying if i am a Male for the CREATOR.
38. let fire come down from heaven to consume you and your 50.
39. fire from the CREATOR came down from heaven.
40. consumed him and his 50.
41. the king again sent.
42. a captain of the 3rd 50 with his 50.
43. when the 3rd captain of 50 went up.
44. he came to him and bowed down on his knees before Elijah.
45. begged him saying.
46. Male for the CREATOR.
47. please let my life.
48. and the lives of these 50 servants of yours be precious in your sight.
49. behold fire came down from heaven,
50. consumed the 1st two.
51. the captains of 50 with their 50's.
52. now let my life be precious in your sight.
53. an Angel from YHVH said Elijah go down with him,
54. do not be afraid of him.
55. he arose and went down with him to the king.
56. he said to the king thus Says YHVH.
57. because you have sent messengers,
58. to inquire from baal-zebub the creator of ekron.
59. is this because there is no CREATOR in Israel?
60. to inquire of HIS Word.
61. therefore you shall not come down,
62. the bed where you have gone up you shall surely die.
63. ahaziah died according to the Word from YHVH.
64. which Elijah had spoken.
65. because he had no son,
66. jehoram became king in his place.
67. in the 2nd year of jehoram,
68. the son of Jehoshaphat was king of Judah.

Chapter 2	2:1
1. this came about.
2. when YHVH was about to take up Elijah by a whirlwind to Heaven.
3. Elijah went with Elisha from gilgal.
4. Elijah said.
5. Elisha stay here please.
6. for YHVH has sent me as far as bethel.
7. Elisha said as YHVH Lives.
8. and as you yourself live i will not leave you.
9. they went down to bethel.
10. the sons of the Prophets who were at bethel came out to Elisha.
11. saying do you know YHVH will take away your master from over you today.
12. he said yes i know be still.
13. Elijah said Elisha please stay here,
14. for YHVH has sent me to jericho.
15. he said as YHVH Lives,
16. and as you yourself live i will not leave you.
17. they came to jericho.
18. the sons of the Prophets who were at jericho approached Elisha.
19. saying do you know YHVH will take away your master from over you today?
20. he answered yes i know be still.
21. Elijah said please stay here.
22. for YHVH has sent me to the jordan.
23. he said as YHVH Lives,
24. and as you yourself live i will not leave you.
25. the 2 of them went on.
26. now 50 men of the sons of the Prophets went.
27. stood opposite them at a distance.
28. while the 2 of them stood by the jordan.
29. Elijah took his mantle.
30. folded together and struck the waters.
31. they were divided here and there.
32. so the 2 of them crossed over on dry ground.
33. came as they had crossed over Elijah said.
34. Elisha ask what i shall do for you before i am taken from you.
35. Elisha said please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.
36. he said you have asked a hard thing.
37. if you see me when i am taken from you this shall be so for you.
38. if not this shall not be so.
39. came as they were going along talking.
40. behold a chariot of fire with horses of fire which separated the 2 of them.
41. Elijah went up by a whirlwind to Heaven.
42. Elisha saw this and cried out.
43. my father my father the chariots of Israel and the horsemen. ]
44. he saw him no more.
45. he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in 2 pieces.
46. he also took up the mantle of Elijah that fell from him.
47. he returned and stood by the bank of the jordan.
48. he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and struck the waters.
49. saying where is YHVH the CREATOR of Elijah.
50. he also struck the waters.
51. they were divided here and there.
52. Elisha crossed over.
53. the sons of the Prophets who were at jericho opposite him saw him.
54. they said the spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.
55. they came to meet him.
56. bowed themselves to the ground before him.
57. they said behold,
58. now there your servants are 50 strong men.
59. please let us go,
60. search for your master.
61. {{ perhaps a Spirit from YHVH has taken him up,
62. cast him on some mountain or into some valley.}
63. he said you shall not send them.
64. they urged him until he was ashamed.
65. so he said send.
66. they sent 50 men,
67. they searched 3 days but did not find him.
68. they returned to him while he was staying at jericho.
69. he said did i not say to you do not go?
70. the men of the city said Elisha behold,
71. the situation of this city is pleasant as my lord sees.
72. but the water is bad and the land is unfruitful,
73. he said bring me a new jar and put salt in.
74. they brought to him and he went out to the spring of water,
75. threw the salt in.
76. saying thus Says YHVH.
77. I have purified these waters.
78. there shall not be from there death.
79. or unfruitfulness any longer.
80. so the waters have been purified to this day.
81. according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.
82. he went up from there to bethel. ]
83. {{ as he was going up by the way young lads came out from the city.
84. they mocked him saying go up you baldhead go up you baldhead.
85. he looked behind him and saw them.
86. he cursed them in the Name YHVH.
87. 2 female bears came out of the woods.
88. tore up 42 lads of their number}
89. he went from there to mount carmel.
90. from there he returned to samaria.
Chapter 3	3:1
1. jehoram the son of ahab.
2. became king over Israel at samaria.
3. in the 18th year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah.
4. he reigned 12 years.
5. he did evil in the Sight of YHVH.
6. though not like his father and his mother.
7. for he put away the sacred pillar for baal.
8. which his father had made.
9. nevertheless he clung to the sins of jeroboam.
10. and the son of nebat.
11. which he made Israel sin.
12. he did not depart from them.
13. now mesha king of moab was a sheep breeder.
14. used to pay the king of Israel.
15. 100,000 lambs.
16. and the wool of 100,000 rams.
17. came as ahab died.
18. the king of moab rebelled against the king of Israel.
19. king jehoram went out of samaria at that time to muster all Israel.
20. he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah.
21. saying the king of moab has rebelled against me.
22. will you go with me to fight against moab? 
23. he said i will go up for i am as you are.
24. my people as your people and my horses as your horses.
25. he said which way shall we go up?
26. he answered by the way to the wilderness of edom.
27. the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of edom,
28. they made a circuit of 7 days journey.
29. there was no water for the army,
30. or for the cattle that followed them.
31. the king of Israel said alas.
32. YHVH has called these 3 kings to give them into the hand of moab.
33. Jehoshaphat said is there not a Prophet of YHVH here.
34. that we may inquire of YHVH by him? 
35.  1 of the king of Israel's servants answered.
36. saying Elisha.
37. the son of Shaphat is here.
38. who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah.
39. Jehoshaphat said the Word from YHVH is with him.
40. the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of edom went down to him.
41. Elisha said to the king of Israel.
42. what do i have to do with you?
43. go to the prophets of your father.
44. to the prophets of your mother.
45. the king of Israel said no.
46. has YHVH called these 3 kings together to give them into the hand of moab?
47. Elisha said as YHVH of Hosts Lives before WHOM i stand.
48. were this not that i regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah 
    i would not look at you nor see you.
49. now bring me a minstrel.
50. came as the minstrel played a Hand from YHVH came upon him.
51. he said thus Says YHVH make this valley full of trenches.
52. for thus Says YHVH you shall not see wind nor shall you see rain.
53. yet the valley shall be filled with water.
54. you shall drink both you and your cattle and your beasts.
55. this is but a slight thing in the Sight of YHVH.
56. HE shall also Give the moabites into your hand.
57. you shall strike every fortified city.
58. and every choice city.
59. fell every good tree and stop all the springs of water.
60. mar every good piece of land with stones.
61. happened in the morning.
62. about the time for Offering the Sacrifice.
63. behold water came by the way of edom.
64. and the country was filled with water.
65. all the moabites heard,
66. the kings came up to fight against them.
67. all who were able to put on armor,
68. the older were summoned to stand on the border.
69. they rose early in the morning.
70. the sun shone on the water.
71. the moabites saw the water opposite them.
72. as red as blood.
73. they said this is their blood and their kings.
74. they have surely fought together.
75. they have slain one another.
76. now moab to the spoil.
77. as they came to the camp of Israel.
78. the Israelites arose and struck the moabites.
79. they fled before them,
80. as they went forward slaughtering the moabites.
81. they destroyed the cities.
82. each one threw a stone on every piece of good land to fill.
83. they stopped all the springs of water.
84. felled all the good trees.
85. until kir-hareseth.
86. they left the stones.
87. however the slingers.
88. went about and struck.
89. the king of moab saw.
90. the battle was too fierce for him.
91. he took with him 700 men.
92. who drew swords to break through to the king of edom but they could not.
93. he took his oldest son who was to reign in his place.
94. offered him as a burnt offering on the wall.
95. came great wrath because of Israel.
96. they departed from him and returned to their own land.
Chapter 4	( part 1 )	4:1
1. a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the Prophets cried out to Elisha,
2. your servant my husband is dead and you know that your servant feared YHVH.
3. the creditor has come to take my 2 children to be his slaves,
4. Elisha said what shall i do for you?
5. tell me what you have in the house.
6. she said your maidservant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.
7. he said go borrow vessels in the streets for yourself and from all your neighbors,
8. empty vessels and do not get a few.
9. you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons.
10. pour out into all these vessels and set aside what is full.
11. she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons.
12. they were bringing to her and she poured.
13. came as the vessels were full,
14. she said son bring me another vessel.
15. he said there is not 1 vessel more,
16. and the oil stopped.
17. she came and told the Male for the CREATOR.
18. he said go sell the oil.
19. pay your debt,
20. you and your sons can live on the rest.
Chapter 4	( part 2 )	4:8
21. came a day as Elisha passed over to shunem.
22. where there was a prominent woman.
23. she persuaded him to eat food.
24. as often as he passed by he turned in there to eat food.
25. she said to her husband behold now.
26. i perceive that this is a Holy Male for the CREATOR passing by us continually.
27. please let us make a little walled upper chamber.
28. let us set a bed for him there.
29. a table and a chair and a lampstand.
30. when he comes he can turn in there.
31. 1 day he came there.
32. turned into the upper chamber and rested.
33. he said to Gehazi his servant call this Shunammite,
34. he called her,
35. she stood before him.
36. he said say now.
37. behold you have been careful with all this care.
38. what can i do for you?
39. would you be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the army.
40. she answered i live among my own people.
41. he said what is to be done for her? 
42. Gehazi answered truly she has no son and her husband is old.
43. he said call {{ call} and she stood in the doorway.
44. he said at this season next year you shall embrace a son.
45. she said no my lord,
46. Male for the CREATOR do not lie to your maidservant.
47. the woman conceived and bore a son,
48. in the season the next year as Elisha said.
49. the child was grown.
50. the day came he went out to his father and his reapers.
51. he said to his father my head my head.
52. he said to his servant carry him to his mother.
53. taken him he brought him to his mother.
54. he sat on her lap until noon and died.
55. she went up and laid him on the bed of the Male for the CREATOR.
56. she shut the door behind her.
57. she went out and called to her husband.
58. said please.
59. send me 1 of the servants.
60. and 1 of the donkeys.
61. that i may go to the Male for the CREATOR and return.
62. he said why will you go to him today?
63. for this is neither New Moon nor Sabbath.
64. she said this will be well.
65. she saddled a donkey,
66. said to her servant drive.
67. go do not slow down the pace for me unless i tell you,
68. she went coming to the Male for the CREATOR by mount carmel.
69. coming to the Male for the CREATOR,
70. he saw her at a distance.
71. he said to Gehazi his servant,
72. behold yonder is the Shunammite.
73. please run now to meet her,
74. say to her is this well with you?
75. is this well with your husband?
76. is this well with the child?
77. she answered this is well,
78. as she came to the Male for the CREATOR on the hill.
79. she caught hold of his feet,
80. Gehazi came near to push her away.
81. the Male for the CREATOR said let her alone,
82. for her soul is troubled within her.
83. YHVH has hidden this from me,
84. HE has not told me.
85. she said did i ask for a son from my lord?
86. did i not say do not deceive me?
87. he said Gehazi gird up your loins,
88. take my staff in your hand.
89. go on your way,
90. if you meet any male do not salute him.
91. if anyone salutes you,
92. do not answer him.
93. lay my staff on the lad's face.
94. the mother of the lad said as YHVH Lives and as you yourself live i 
    will not leave you.
95. he arose and followed her,
96. Gehazi passed on before them.
97. he laid the staff on the lad's face.
98. there was neither sound nor response.
99. so he returned to meet him.
100. told him the lad has not awakened.
101. Elisha came into the house,
102. behold the lad was dead laying on his bed.
103. he entered and shut the door behind them both.
104. he prayed to YHVH.
105. he went up and lay on the child.
106. put his mouth on his mouth.
107. his eyes on his eyes,
108. his hands on his hands.
109. he stretched himself on him.
110. the flesh of the child became warm.
111. he returned and walked in the house,
112. once back and forth.
113. he went up and stretched himself on him.
114. the lad sneezed 7 times.
115. the lad opened his eyes.
116. he called Gehazi saying call this Shunammite.
117. he called and she came to him.
118. he said take up your son.
119. then she went and fell at his feet bowing herself to the ground.
120. she took up her son and went out.
Chapter 4	( part 3 )	4:38
121. Elisha returned to gilgal for famine was in the Land.
122. the sons of the Prophets were sitting before him.
123. he said to his servant put on the large pot.
124. boil stew for the sons of the Prophets.
125. one went out into the field to gather herbs.
126. found a wild vine and gathered from this.
127. his lap was full of wild gourds.
128. he came and sliced them into the pot of stew not knowing.
129. he poured this out for the men to eat.
130. came as they were eating the stew they cried out.
131. said Male for the CREATOR there is death in the pot.
132. they were unable to eat.
133. he said bring meal.
134. he threw this into the pot.
135. he said pour this out for the people that they may eat.
136. no harm is in the pot.
Chapter 4	( part 4 )	4:42
137. a male came from baal-shalishah.
138. he brought the Male for the CREATOR bread and the 1st fruits.
139. 20 loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack.
140. he said give them to the people that they may eat.
141. his attendant said what will i set as this to be before for 100 men.
142. he said give to the people that they may eat.
143. for thus Says YHVH they shall eat and have left over.
144. he set this before them and they ate and had some left over according 
     to the Word from YHVH.
Chapter 5	5:1
1. naaman captain of the army of the king of aram.
2. was a great male with his master and highly respected.
3. {{ because by him YHVH had given victory to aram.
4. the male was also a valiant warrior but he was a leper.}
5. the arameans had gone out in bands,
6. and had taken captive a little girl from the Land of Israel.
7. she waited on naaman's wife.
8. she said to her mistress,
9. i wish my master were with the Prophet who is in samaria.
10. then he would cure him of his leprosy.
11. naaman went in and told his master.
12. saying thus and thus spoke the girl who is from the Land of Israel.
13. the king of aram said go now.
14. i will send with you a letter for the king of Israel.
15. he departed and took with him,
16.  10 talents of silver.
17.  6,000 of gold,
18.  10 changes of clothes.
19. he brought the letter to the king of Israel.
20. saying now as this letter comes to you.
21. behold i have sent naaman my servant to you,
22. that you may cure him of his leprosy.
23. came as the king of Israel read the letter he tore his clothes.
24. said am i the CREATOR to kill and to make alive.
25. this male is sending word to me to cure a male of his leprosy,
26. consider now and see how he is seeking a quarrel against me.
27. happened as Elisha the Male for the CREATOR heard the king of Israel 
    had torn his clothes.
28. he sent word to the king.
29. saying why have you torn your clothes.
30. now let him come to me and know there is a Prophet in Israel.
31. naaman came with his horsemen and his chariots.
32. they stood at the doorway of the house of Elisha.
33. Elisha sent a messenger to him saying go and wash in the jordan 7 times.
34. your flesh shall be restored and clean.
35. naaman was furious,
36. he went away.
37. saying behold i thought he will surely come out to me.
38. stand and call on the Name YHVH his CREATOR.
39. wave his hand over the place.
40. and cure this leper.
41. are not abanah and pharpar the rivers of damascus better than all 
    the waters of Israel.
42. could i not wash in them and be clean?
43. so he turned and went away in a rage.
44. his servant came near and spoke to him.
45. saying my father had the Prophet told you to do some great thing 
    would you not have done this.
46. how much more then when he says to you wash and be clean?
47. he went down and dipped 7 times in the jordan.
48. according to the word of the Male for the CREATOR.
49. his flesh was restored.
50. like the flesh of a little child for he was clean.
51. he returned to the Male for the CREATOR with all his company.
52. they came and stood before him.
53. he said behold now i know there is no creator in all the earth but in Israel.
54. please take a present from your servant now.
55. he said as YHVH Lives before WHOM i stand i will take nothing,
56. he urged him to take but he refused.
57. naaman said if not.
58. please let your servants at least be given 2 mules to carry the earth.
59. for your servant will no more offer burnt offerings.
60. nor will he sacrifice to another creator but to YHVH.
61. in this matter may YHVH pardon your servant.
62. for my master goes into the house of rimmon to worship.
63. there he leans on my hand.
64. i bow myself in the house of rimmon.
65. as i bow myself in the house of rimmon.
66. may YHVH pardon your servant in this matter.
67. he said go in peace. ]
68. he departed from him some distance,
69. Gehazi the servant for Elisha the Male for the CREATOR thought.
70. behold my master has spared this naaman the aramean,
71. by not receiving from his hands what he brought.
72. as YHVH Lives i will run after him.
73. i will take something from him.
74. Gehazi pursued naaman.
75. naaman saw one running after him.
76. he came down from the chariot to meet him.
77. said is all well?
78. he said all is well.
79. my master has sent me to say.
80. behold just now.
81.  2 young men from the sons of the Prophets have come to me from the 
    hill country of Ephraim.
82. please give them a talent of silver and 2 changes of clothes.
83. naaman said please take 2 talents for he urged him.
84. he bound 2 talents of silver in 2 bags with 2 changes of clothes.
85. he gave them to 2 of his servants and they carried them before him.
86. when he came to the hill.
87. he took them from their hand.
88. deposited them in the house.
89. he sent the men away and they departed.
90. he went in and stood before his master.
91. Elisha said.
92. where have you been Gehazi?
93. he said your servant went nowhere.
94. he said did not my heart go with you?
95. when the male turned from his chariot to meet you? 
96. is this a time to receive money?
97. or to receive clothes?
98. olive groves.
99. and vineyards?
100. sheep and oxen.
101. male and female servants?
102. the leprosy of naaman shall cleave to you.
103. and to your descendants forever.
104. he went out from his presence,
105. a leper as white as snow.
Chapter 6	6:1
1. the sons of the Prophets said.
2. Elisha behold.
3. now the place before you where we are living is too limited for us.
4. please let us go to the jordan.
5. each of us take from there a beam.
6. let us make a place there for ourselves.
7. where we may live.
8. he said go.
9. one said please.
10. be willing to go with your servants.
11. he answered.
12. i shall go and he went.
13. they came to the jordan.
14. cut down trees.
15. but as one was felling a beam.
16. the axe head fell into the water.
17. he cried out saying.
18. alas my master for this was borrowed.
19. the Male for the CREATOR said where did this fall?
20. he showed him the place.
21. he cut off a stick.
22. threw this there and made the iron float.
23. he said take this up for yourself.
24. he put out his hand and took.
Chapter 7	6:8
1. the king of aram was warring against Israel.
2. he counseled with his servants saying in such and such a place shall be my camp.
3. the Male for the CREATOR sent word to the king of Israel.
4. saying beware you do not pass this place for the arameans are coming down there.
5. the king of Israel sent to the place.
6. which the Male for the CREATOR told him.
7. he warned him that he guarded himself there.
8. more than once or twice.
9. the heart of the king of aram was enraged over this thing.
10. he called his servants saying will you tell me which of us is for 
    the king of Israel?
11.  1 of his servants said no my lord and king.
12. Elisha the Prophet who is in Israel tells the king of Israel 
    the words you speak in your bedroom.
13. he said go and see where he is that i may send and take him.
14. they told him saying behold he is in dothan.
15. he sent horses and chariots and a great army there.
16. they came by night and surrounded the city.
17. the attendant for the Male for the CREATOR had risen early and gone out.
18. behold an army with horses and chariots was circling the city.
19. his servant said alas my master what shall we do?
20. he answered do not fear for Those WHO are with us are more than 
    those who are with them.
21. Elisha prayed saying YHVH i pray open his eyes that he may see.
22. YHVH opened the servant's eyes and he saw.
23. behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots,
24. and fire was all around Elisha.
25. as they came down to him,
26. Elisha prayed to YHVH saying strike this people with blindness i pray.
27. HE struck them with blindness.
28. according to the word of Elisha.
29. Elisha said this is not the way.
30. nor is this the city  follow me.
31. i will bring you to the male whom you seek.
32. he brought them to samaria.
33. happened as they had come into samaria.
34. Elisha said YHVH open the eyes of these that they may see.
35. YHVH opened their eyes and they saw.
36. behold they were in the midst of samaria.
37. the king of Israel when he saw them said.
38. Elisha my father shall i kill them shall i kill them?
39. he answered you shall not kill them.
40. would you kill those you have taken captive with your sword and bow? 
41. set bread and water before them.
42. that they may eat and drink.
43. let them go to their master.
44. he prepared a great feast for them.
45. they had eaten and drank.
46. he sent them away.
47. they went to their master.
48. {{ the marauding bands of arameans}
49. and did not come again into the land of Israel.
Chapter 8	6:24
1. came about after this.
2. ben-hadad king of aram gathered all his army.
3. went up and besieged samaria.
4. there was a great famine in samaria.
5. {{ behold they besieged this.
6. until a donkey's head was sold for 80 of silver.
7. a 4th of a kab of dove's dung for 5 of silver.}
8. as the king of Israel was passing by on the wall,
9. as a woman cried out to him saying help my lord and king.
10. he said if YHVH does not help you from where shall i help you?
11. from the threshing floor or from the wine press?
12. the king said what is the matter with you?
13. she answered this woman said.
14. give your son that we may eat him today.
15. we will eat my son tomorrow.
16. {{ so we boiled my son and ate him.
17. i said to her on the next day.
18. give your son that we may eat him.
19. but she has hidden her son.}
20. came as the king heard words of the woman,
21. he tore his clothes.
22. now he was passing by on the wall and the people looked,
23. behold he had sackcloth beneath on his body.
24. he said may the CREATOR do so to me and more also.
25. if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on him today.
26. Elisha was sitting in his house and the Elders were sitting with him.
27. the king sent a male from his presence.
28. but before the messenger came to him.
29. he said to the Elders do you see how this son of a murderer has 
    sent to take away my head? 
30. look as the messenger comes shut the door and hold the door shut against him.
31. for is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?
32. while he was still talking with them.
33. behold the messenger came down to him.
34. he said behold is this evil from YHVH?
35. why should i wait for YHVH any longer?
36. Elisha said listen to the Word from YHVH.
37. thus Says YHVH tomorrow about this time.
38. a measure of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel.
39.  2 measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of samaria.
40. the royal officer on whose hand the king was leaning,
41. answered the Male for the CREATOR.
42. said behold if YHVH should make windows in heaven could this thing be,
43. he said behold you shall see with your own eyes but you shall not eat of.
44. there were 4 leprous men at the entrance gate,
45. they said to one another why do we sit here until we die?
46. if we say we will enter the city and the famine is in the city 
    we shall die there.
47. if we sit here we die also.
48. now come,
49. let us go over to the camp of the arameans.
50. if they spare us we shall live,
51. if they kill us we shall but die.
52. they arose at twilight,
53. went to the camp of the arameans.
54. they came to the outskirts of the camp of the arameans,
55. behold there was no one there.
56. for the LORD had caused the army of the arameans to hear,
57. the sound of chariots.
58. the sound of horses,
59. the sound of a great army.
60. for they said to one another,
61. behold the king of Israel has hired against us.
62. the kings of the hittites,
63. and the kings of the egyptians to come upon us.
64. they arose and fled in the twilight,
65. left their tents and their horses and their donkeys.
66. even the camp just as this was fleeing for their life,
67. these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp.
68. they entered 1 tent and ate and drank,
69. carried from there silver  gold and clothes.
70. they went and hid them and they returned.
71. entered another tent and carried from there and went and hid them.
72. they said to one another we are not doing right.
73. this day is a day of good news but we are keeping silent.
74. if we wait until morning light punishment will overtake us.
75. now come let us go tell the king's household.
76. they came and called to the gatekeepers of the city.
77. they told them saying.
78. we came to the camp of the arameans.
79. behold there was no one there.
80. nor the voice of a male.
81. only the horses tied and the donkeys tied to the tents just as they were.
82. the gatekeepers called.
83. told this within the king's household.
84. the king arose in the night.
85. saying to his servants.
86. i will now tell you what the arameans have done to us.
87. for they know that we are hungry.
88. they have gone from the camp.
89. to hide themselves in the field.
90. saying when they come out of the city.
91. we shall capture them alive and get into the city.
92. one of his servants answered.
93. saying please take 5 of the horses remaining.
94. which are left in the city,
95. behold they will be like all the multitude of Israel who are left.
96. or behold they will be like all the multitude of Israel.
97. who have already perished.
98. so let us send and see.
99. they took 2 chariots with horses.
100. the king sent out after the army of the arameans.
101. saying go and see.
102. they went after them to the jordan.
103. behold all the way was full of clothes and equipment which the 
     arameans had thrown away in their haste.
104. the messengers returned and told the king.
105. the people went out and plundered the camp of the arameans.
106. a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel.
107. 2 measures of barley for a shekel according to the Word from YHVH.
108. the king appointed a royal officer.
109. whose hand he had leaned and has charge of the gate.
110. the people trampled on him at the gate.
111. he died just as the Male for the CREATOR had said.
112. who spoke as the king came down to him.
113. became as the Male for the CREATOR had Spoken to the king.
114. saying 2 measures of barley for a shekel.
115. a measure of fine flour for a shekel shall be sold tomorrow at 
     this time at the gate of samaria.
116. the royal officer answered the Male for the CREATOR.
117. saying now behold if YHVH should make windows in heaven could such a thing be? 
118. he said behold you shall see this with your own eyes but you shall not eat.
119. so happened to him for the people trampled on him at the gate and he died.
Chapter 9	8:1
1. Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life.
2. saying arise and go with your household.
3. sojourn wherever you can sojourn for YHVH has called for a famine.
4. this shall even come on the Land for 7 years.
5. the woman arose.
6. did according to the word from the Male for the CREATOR.
7. she went with her household.
8. sojourned in the land of the philistines 7 years.
9. came at the end of 7 years.
10. the woman returned from the land of the philistines.
11. she went out to appeal to the king.
12. for her house and for her field.
13. the king was talking with Gehazi.
14. the servant from the Male for the CREATOR.
15. saying please relate to me.
16. all the great things Elisha has done.
17. came as he was relating to the king.
18. how he had restored to life one who was dead.
19. behold the woman whose son he had restored to life.
20. appealed to the king for her house and for her field.
21. Gehazi said my lord and king,
22. this is the woman and this is her son.
23. whom Elisha restored to life,
24. the king asked the woman to related this to him.
25. the king appointed for her a certain officer.
26. saying restore all that was hers.
27. all the produce in the field,
28. from the day she left the land even until now.
Chapter 10	8:7
1. Elisha came to damascus.
2. ben-hadad king of aram was sick.
3. they told him saying.
4. the Male for the CREATOR has come here.
5. the king said hazael take a gift in your hand.
6. go to meet the Male for the CREATOR.
7. inquire to YHVH by him.
8. say will i recover from this sickness?
9. hazael went to meet him.
10. taking the gifts in his hand.
11. even every kind of good thing of damascus.
12.  40 camels' loads.
13. he came and stood before him.
14. said your son ben-hadad king of aram.
15. has sent me to you saying.
16. will i recover from this sickness?
17. Elisha said go.
18. say to him you shall surely recover.
19. for YHVH has shown me.
20. and he will certainly die.
21. he fixed his gaze steadily on him until he was ashamed.
22. the Male for the CREATOR wept.
23. hazael said why does my lord weep?
24. he answered because i know the evil you will do to the sons of Israel.
25. their strongholds you will set on fire.
26. their young men you will kill with the sword.
27. their little ones you will dash in pieces.
28. their women with child you will rip up.
29. hazael said but what is your servant who is but a dog.
30. that he should do this great thing?
31. Elisha answered,
32. YHVH has shown me you will be king over aram.
33. he departed from Elisha.
34. and returned to his master.
35. who said what did Elisha say to you?
36. he answered he told me you would surely recover.
37. this came on the morrow.
38. he took a cover and dipped in water.
39. spread this on his face so that he died.
40. hazael became king in his place.
Chapter 11	8:16
1. in the 5th year of joram the son of ahab king of Israel and 
   Jehoshaphat the king of Judah,
2. jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah became king.
3. at 32 years old he became king.
4. he reigned 8 years in Jerusalem.
5. he walked in the way of the kings of Israel,
6. just as the house of ahab had done.
7. for the daughter of ahab became his wife,
8. he did evil in the Sight of YHVH.
9. YHVH was not willing to destroy Judah,
10. for the sake of David HIS Servant.
11. since HE had Promised him,
12. to give a lamp to him through his sons always.
13. in his days edom revolted from under the hand of Judah,
14. and made a king over themselves.
15. joram crossed over to zair,
16. all his chariots with him.
17. came as he arose by night to strike the edomites who had surrounded him.
18. the captains of the chariots and his army fled to their tents.
19. edom revolted against Judah to this day.
20. libnah revolted at the same time.
21. the rest of the acts of joram,
22. all that he did.
23. are they not written in the Book?
24. in the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.
25. joram slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers 
    in the City of David,
26. ahaziah his son became king in his place.
27. in the 12th year of joram the son of ahab king of Israel.
28. ahaziah the son of jehoram king of Judah began to reign.
29. ahaziah at 22 years old became king,
30. he reigned 1 year in Jerusalem.
31. his mother's name was athaliah,
32. the granddaughter of omri king of Israel.
33. he walked in the way of the house of ahab,
34. did evil in the Sight of YHVH.
35. like the house of ahab,
36. because he was a son-in-law from the house of ahab.
37. he went with joram the son of ahab,
38. to war against hazael king of aram.
39. at ramoth-gilead the arameans wounded joram.

6. search out Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi.

Chapter 12	( part 3 )	10:1
145. ahab had 70 sons in samaria,
146. Jehu wrote letters and sent them to samaria.
147. to the rulers of jezreel,
148. the Elders the guardians of ahab saying.
149. now this letter comes to you since your master's sons are with you.
150. as well as chariots and horses in a fortified city with weapons.
151. select the best and fittest of your master's sons.
152. set him on his father's throne to fight for your master's house.
153. they feared greatly saying behold 2 kings did not stand before him.
154. how then can we stand?
155. the one who was over the household.
156. and those who were over the city.
157. the Elders and the guardians sent to Jehu,

8. stole him from among the king's sons who were being put to death.

5. all the money which any male's heart prompts him to bring for the House for YHVH.
6. let the Priests take each from his acquaintance.
7. they shall repair the damages to the House,
8. wherever any damage may be found.

Chapter 17	14:1
1. in the 2nd year of Joash the son of Joahaz king of Israel.
2. amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah became king.

2. whom YHVH had driven out before the sons of Israel.

5. the sons of Israel did things secretly which were not right,
6. against YHVH their CREATOR.
7. they built for themselves high places in all their towns.
8. from the watchtower to the fortified city.
9. they set for themselves sacred pillars.

12. as the nations did which YHVH had carried away to exile before them.

Chapter 22	18:1
1. came in the 3rd year of hoshea the son of elah king of Israel.
2. Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah became king.
3. at 25 years old he became king and he reigned 29 years in Jerusalem.
4. his mother's name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.
5. he did right in the Sight of YHVH,
6. according to all that his father David had done.
7. he removed the high places,
8. breaking down the sacred pillars and cutting down the asherah.
9. {{ he also broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made.

44. on which if a male leans will go into his hand and pierce him.
45. so is pharaoh king of egypt to all who rely on him.
46. if you say to me we trust YHVH our CREATOR.
47. is this not HE whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away?
48. saying to Judah and to Jerusalem.
49. you shall worship before this Altar in Jerusalem?
50. now come.
51. make a bargain with my master the king of assyria.
52. i will give you 2,000 horses.
53. if you are able on your part to set riders on them.
54. how then can you repulse 1 official of the least of my master's servants.
55. or rely on egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
56. have i now come up without YHVH's Approval against this Place to destroy?

1. manasseh at 12 years old became king.
2. he reigned 55 years in Jerusalem.

5. according to the abominations of the nations,
6. whom YHVH dispossessed before the sons of Israel.
7. for he rebuilt the high places,
8. which Hezekiah his father had destroyed.
9. he erected altars for baal,
10. made an asherah as ahab king of Israel had done.
11. worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.
12. he built altars in the House for YHVH,
13. of which YHVH had Said,
14. in Jerusalem I will put MY Name.

17. he made his son pass through the fire,
18. practiced witchcraft and used divination.
19. dealt with mediums and spiritists,
20. for he did much evil in the Sight of YHVH.

212. buried him in his own tomb,

1. Jehoiakim at 25 years old became king.
2. he reigned 11 years in Jerusalem.

Chapter 27	25:1
1. came in the 9th year of his reign.
2. on the 10th day of the 10th month.
3. nebuchadnezzar king of babylon came.
4. he and all his army against Jerusalem.
5. camped against.
6. built a siege wall all around.
7. the City was under siege.
8. until the 11th year of king zedekiah.
9. on the 9th day of the month.
10. the famine was severe in the City.
11. no food for the people of the Land.
12. the City was broken into.
13. all the men of war.
14. fled by night.
15. by way of the gate.
16. between the 2 walls beside the king's garden.
17. though the chaldeans were all around the City.
18. they went by way of the arabah.
19. the army of the chaldeans pursued the king.
20. overtook him in the plains of jericho.
21. all his army was scattered from him.
22. they captured the king.
23. brought him to the king of babylon at riblah.
24. he passed sentence on him.
25. they slaughtered the sons of zedekiah before his eyes.
26. then put out the eyes of zedekiah.
27. bound him with bronze fetters.

30. which was the 19th year of king nebuchadnezzar king of babylon.

55. the 2 Pillars the 1 Sea and the Stands which Solomon had made for the House for YHVH.
56. the bronze of all these Vessels was beyond weight.
57. the height of the 1 Pillar was 18 cubits with a bronze Capital.
58. the height of the Capital was 3 cubits.
59. with the Network of Pomegranates on the Capital all around.
60. all of bronze of the 2nd Pillar was like these with a Network.
61. the captain of the guard took Seraiah the Chief Priest.
62. with Zephaniah the 2nd Priest and the 3 officers of the House. {{ temple}
63. from the City he took 1 official who was overseer of the men of war.
64. with 5 of the king's advisers who were found in the City.
65. the scribe and the captain of the army who mustered the people of the Land.
66.  60 men of the people of the Land at were found in the City.
67. nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them.
